Unbounce is a flexible and powerful landing page builder for all screen sizes. It offers two solution categories. While it offers code-free drag-and-drop functionality for solopreneurs and lean teams with limited development resources, it also allows for custom JavaScript and CSS programming for more experienced users. Unbounce offers two major product categories – Classic Unbounce and Conversion Intelligence Platform. Classic Unbounce allows marketers to design pages in minutes with its 300+ built-in templates and integration with theme stores, plus an array of marketing-focused capabilities such as offer targeting, A/B testing, and content gating just to name a few. The newer Conversion Intelligence Platform leverages AI and machine learning that empowers businesses to create high-converting marketing campaigns. It offers industry-specific, goal-based, and data-driven page templates, content delivery based on traffic sources and visitor attributes, and AI-assisted copywriting capability.

Unbounce has an extremely easy to use, drag & drop visual editor. No other landing page tool is as easy. You can spin up great looking landing pages without the help of a designer and without knowing any code. If you struggle with design, they have tons of great free templates you can customize to your needs. I build custom landing pages in Unbounce and my team is able to easily clone and update my pages for their needs without me having to review their work to ensure it looks on brand. Making pages mobile friendly is also a breeze! Unbounce automatically converts desktop designs to mobile and then lets you further alter that design to create a custom layout unqiue to mobile, so you can easily provide a stellar user experience. My favorite part of Unbounce is their A/B testing and Smart Traffic tools. They have the most straightforward, true A/B testing tool that makes it easy to see which landing page variant is the clear winner AND they highlight statistic significance. Their Smart Traffic tool automatically sends traffic to the page that is most likely to convert a unique user. This has increased my conversions by over 50%! Additionally, Unbounce makes it easy to include custom code across mutliple (or single) pages, use external conversion goals, and integrate with other platforms. I've traditionally used HubSpot for landing pages, but their builder and A/B testing tools blow HubSpot out of the water (and this is coming from a true true HubSpot fan; I use Unbounce with HubSpot).
While I do have "dislikes", they are more improvements that could be made to the platform rather than things that make me not want to use it. I wish they had templated modules. Their templates are great but there's no easy way to pull your favorite parts of templates as individual modules that you want to use on a page. No one template ever completely matches my vision so I wish there was an easy way to grab all the parts of different templates I want and combine with my own custom page sections. Sometimes you do need to know a little bit of HTML and CSS. I find myself having to go into code to fix line spacing issues and hyperlinks. The mobile optimization tool is great, but it could definitely use some work (definitely still better than other options though!) While I love that Unbounce has layers like an Adobe CC product would, I wish it also had some of the same shortcuts and hotkeys. Additionally, I wish I could select and move objects within the layers menu. Also being able to group objects on the page would make my life sooooo much easier. My last gripe is that integrating Unbounce forms is a pain. The direct integration with marketing automation platforms pulls every single Unbounce form in your account into the platform. This is a huge problem when you're an agency with multiple Ubounce "clients" connected to your Unbounce "account". I cannot have one client's forms pulling into another client's marketing automation platform. We should be able to choose which client (referring to the Unbounce "client" term that is a subset under account rather than "client" as a company) when integrating. It's also a pain that you have to map the fields for each form individually; if you have a ton of pages this is a huge lift. For these two reasons I mostly use Zapier for integrating or just opt to use forms from marketing automation platforms rather than Unbounce.
I'm doing stronger A/B tests, building better pages with less resources, and driving more conversions. Unbounce makes scaling marketing campaigns a breeze.
In Unbounce you can make pages look anyway you like. there are no limitations of tables or boxes. Drag anything you want, anywhere you want it.
The price is fairly high but still better than instapage
I am using unbounce for all of my landing pages including the home page for my main website.
In ~2 hours, I can go from ideation to delivery of a responsive, attractive, and customized landing page. The WYSIWYG interface is the easiest I've ever used, letting me customize everything from text to graphics and forms. I also love how it integrates with nearly everything. Through Zapier, I've integrated landing pages to GoToWebinar and other apps in ~5 minutes. I also appreciate how easily I can copy elements from different templates to paste into a master design - letting me combine the best elements across their broad portfolio into one design. It also easily lets me add custom code so I can track it with Google Analytics, marketing automation tools, optimization tools (like Crazy Egg and Hotjar), and intent data tools. The forms are also very easy to create and optimize with hidden fields to pick up UTM parameters so I know what ads are driving the most conversions. Its A/B/n feature is stupid simple to set up (which is a relief). I can also set up parameter-based messaging so I can use the same landing page with multiple different ads.
The mobile editor can be a bit finicky, so save often. I wish it was more like how Wix auto-adjusts the mobile view of a page so you don't have to do much customization. I also miss the live chat support because that was a huge lifesaver when I first started using it. The in-app Zapier integration section is less user-friendly than using Zapier itself, but that’s a minor annoyance.
I needed to quickly create attractive, responsive, and customized landing pages without needing to involve a designer and developer. Unbounce has drastically increased my productivity, letting me create campaigns within 2-3 hours. Unbounce is like having a dedicated designer and developer on-hand.
Easy drag and drop builder, plethora of templates to choose from
Nothing much really, though I wish they had more native integrations
It has helped us test and optimize our ad landing pages at scale. It also helps us test out headlines and designs for our site.
The drag and drop editor makes this platform approachable and quick for marketers. Working at a start up means you typically need things done yesterday, and Unbounce allows you to execute at a moments notice.
There are lots of limitations in the editor, and the mobile version is not the most responsive.
As a small team, we need landing pages that look good, work well, and can happen quickly. We don't have the time or budget to have a web developer create all the pages we need so Unbounce increases efficiency in our workflow.
Integrates very well with our sales processes.
I can't complain about fee because I make more
Enables me to measure the effectiveness of a campaign and track the origin of the lead.
It is easy to use. With the drag and drop interface, you can move objects and customize the landing page in a few minutes. I love the A/B test system as well
Nothing at the moment. The only thing that annoys me a little bit is the fact that sometimes, moving objects in the mobile version of the page affects the desktop page as well.
I can create easily landing page for my campaign and test different value propositions.
how easy is to create and manipulate landing pages and the integration with important platforms
you cant apply rules to the forms like ''Avoid personal emails''
create all our landing pages for our marketing campaigns and integrate them with hubspot and other tools
It is very easy to use! Drag and drop functionality so you don't have to be a web designer or developer to create an awesome landing page. It allows you to choose from templates they've already create or start from scratch. Unbounce saves me so much time! It also has a mobile-friendly design already optimized, so that's been great when we are trying to build out our new pages/forms.
Sometimes the mobile-optimized versions can get a little messed up when editing your desktop version. For me, I've just had to use it more to understand the best way of making both pages look nice. Practice has been key! But overall, I really like using Unbounce and would recommend!
My organization can now get a new and fresh landing page up and running in very little time! They have great templates ready to use and has been a great tool for someone who isn't a web developer. Also, if I'm running into problems, they have a great support team who are quick to respond or I just try and Google my issue because there's a large online community who post tips and tricks all of the time for Unbounce.
By using unbounce for the last 5-6 years we were able to grow hour team professionally and boost company KPI's, the support and community are top of the line and very helpful, unbounce has become a solution for digital projects besides PPC, its were we prove concepts and test new design ideas. In the last years we were able to boost performance in over 2000%. Couldn't be happier.
Some integration features, which is normal, we are a global company using different systems. A few native features could be added such as multi step forms, double forms per page. although the platform is highly flexible and there is always a workaround. Guess there is nothing major i dislike, just had to put something here.
Basically it change the way we do ppc, the way the company deals with it, a lot of the workflow changed, specially in new concept tests were everything we want to test we use unbounce.
This is one of the simplest ways to build and test landing page designs for PPC. The built-in tools are robust, and results are easy to track. Even working alone, I feel confident that I am able to produce thoughtful, on-brand messaging in very little time.
Some technical implementation is required or appropriate conversion tracking. This can cause some implementation issues for new users.
Unbounce allows us to quickly scale landing page designs for multiple regions and campaigns. It also allows us to test new campaign concepts, and easily do A/B comparisons. Within a few months of our most recent implementation, we saw a nearly 400% increase in conversion rate. Additionally, their community resources (specifically the blog and conference) are excellent educational tools.
Unbounce makes very good looking landing pages that load very quickly. We all know that page load speed, especially when you are buying paid ads, is so important. If you landing pages don't load fast, take a look at Unbounce!
Unbounce was a little tricky to learn to build our pages. You'll want to spend an afternoon building a page or 2 to become acclimated to Unbounce.
We had a high bounce rate on our Google & Facebook ad landing pages and it was lowering our sales volume. Unbounce pages load very fast and conversions have come back up.
Unbounce makes it super easy to create landing pages. Everyone from marketer to an experienced web designer can make exactly what they want. If you need more advanced control you can add your own custom CSS and scripts.
The only thing that can get a bit wonky is making the landing pages fit perfectly on tablet size screens. Unbounce does its best to scale the page to fit perfectly on each device but it is not perfect. You need to be aware of your user bases' average screen size and adjust your designs accordingly.
Helps us make better adaptive landing pages while our current website is being rebuilt. Having our landing pages fit perfectly on each screen has made a better experience for everyone and has lead to increased conversions.
I was using Pardot and canceled the renewal and switched to Unbounce for landing pages. The new landers looked much better and were far easier to create than in Pardot. The result? We set 5 lead production records in 6 months. We have fewer people opening a landing page and then bouncing out without completing the form and submitting it.
Once a form is built, I was a little slow to get a strong handle on editing forms. But that is probably just me doing it late in the day.
We build the business via sales lead generated by the web. We get phone calls and web form submissions. We are trending at over double what we did last year in web forms since we switched to Unbounce. Unbounce doesn't get all the credit for the increase, but they do get a lot of it.
