Instapage is by far the best tool I've use to ideate, design and scale landing page creation. Super easy to use for no coders. The interface is very easy to use and I love the fact that you can share pages with stakeholders in one click.
The A/B testing feature is still not that advance
Scaling landing page creation without the need of a developer
No code is required, and it is easy to connect with Wordpress and other CMS. The experiments are also very good without the need to do it in either google analytics or meta.
Lack of chatbot solutions, the price is very high against the competitors. It has glitches with the new google analytics; the documentation is not updated, and while support is good, the
Human resources, extra people in the team that can be tackled by the tool and the reliability that comes with it.
Instapage allows you to create so many different variations.
You should be able to make an edit and publish the page without it creating a new version for analytics and heatmaps. If I'm changing the price of a product that shouldn't trigger the new version. Let us decide. I realize that any change you make could increase conversions, but some edits I would like to determine how important it is to my page.
Helps me churn out a large number of landing pages by duplicating.
- Easy to design pages - Drag and drop is easy to use - Provides many pre-created blocks for you to use - Easy to collaborate with others on your team - Wide variety of possibilities that you can create
- Optimizing the pages once you've put together your outline is not intuitive and can be difficult to do without assistance - Needs more tutorials for first-time users
On our websites, our PDPs are not able to be customized at all; therefore, Instapage is very useful for us because we can create landing pages which are specific to campaigns or to an offer that we are promoting.
The interface of Instapage makes it very easy to sort and organise campaigns, connect domains, and do all the necessary admin. The designer is pretty solid as well, and any custom requirements can be done with code.
Can't change font sizes on the mobile and desktop individually. The mobile editor is also a little clunky, the auto convert tool does an okay job, but doesn't space elements consistently, so it requires a decent amount of customisation. Moving elements on the desktop view can sometimes distort and re-order mobile.
Managing and grouping campaign landing pages and subdomains all in one easy location, without having to deal with custom hosting and website requirements.
- Support is always available - The pages are easy to make, with the design elements being pretty straightforward - I have been able to make pages quickly using the 'duplicate page' tool
- Sometimes uploading pictures glitches - There is a glitch in the connecting of thank you pages that has yet to be resolved - The new changes are not super straightforward - The backgrounds should be easier to place/crop
Instapage is helping me solve the issue of building landing pages for our marketing clients. Their websites can sometimes have a pretty rugged design, and the ability to create my own designs is excellent.
Many features, easy to use. The only and best drag and drop landing page platform
only the owner can see the plan limits some of the features are hidden the url names
Creating a landing page easily and quickly. I don't need to wait for our creative team to create landing pages
My organization is using Instapage for the last many months and I have been working for the last 1 year. I found the templates very creative and engaging. The loading speed of the pages are also very fast.
The alignment issue on Instapage - while creating the mobile version, sometimes the alignments get disturbed which takes a lot of time to correct. Few of the functionalities also needs to be added.
We are getting good results and traffic on our web pages. We can create quick webpages on Instapage which are required for us to spread out information about our products.
I've only just started using it, but it's really intuitive to use and I can build pages pretty quickly without developer help. I think the user interface is pretty good - I can easy align and adjust things to make the page look professional while have an easy to use drag and drop tool.
I wish there were conversion tracking for App Store or Google Play Stores. I haven't used Instapage that extensively yet, so I can't comment on any other things to improve on.
We wanted a tool that allowed us to iterate quickly, test, and experiment, without developer help. Updating our website takes too much time (waiting for developer, back and forth briefing them), and this allows us to update landing pages and test quickly. We also needed a SOC2 compliant tool, and Instapage met that need.
Ease of use, as opposed to say Wordpress.
Would require some bit of coding to get to redirect.
We are able to create landing pages faster.
Instapage is very easy to use. I've found their team helpful and their Zapier integration more than sufficient. Publishing to a Wordpress site is easy. The only downside is it may be a bit pricy compared to it's competitors.
The price is a bit high. My organization pays around $400 monthly for this product. Everything works well within, but I do think it would be great if they allowed site file exports compatible with other site builders. To my knowledge, they don't but this could be wrong.
We use instapage for a variety of landing pages. I am not a developer nor are most of the members of my team which is what makes instapage so valuable, all of us are fluent builders within the software.
The simplicity of the platform makes it super easy to use. And, they live up to their word as INSTA-page: it loads fast, reliable and does not disappoint. Really great platform overall for its intended use-case! Their support is also amazing by the way, always going out of their way to help us even if its not their direct responsibility or not an intended use-case.
There is nothing I really disliked, but I would really like a bit more option in customizing some of the element's attributes (as ID, or adding my own customized attributes). This could help mainly for analytics purposes, which are pretty important if I'm gonna make a few versions of my landing page and want to see which one's gives the best results for the information i want to give to my client, not just in terms of conversion rates but in more detail which only dedicated analytic tools could provide.
Well I'd say its more a desire than a problem- and its a desire to have a comfortable, reliable and simple platform to make landing pages and a wide variety of them and to be able to A-B test them easily to know which ones work best.
Easy way to build up a page. Lovely and valuable templates. I love the drag&drop function.
Difficult to animate stuff. You cannot target buttons only with their id. The HTML/CSS Implementure isn't working that easy. It is hard to get tech support fast.
Building Landingpages.
The platform is very user-friendly and was not difficult for me to figure out. The customer service is amazing!
Sometimes it is confusing making sure mobile looks alright and that everything from the web version has carried over.
Low conversion rates. With the easy-to-use A/B experiment feature creating multiple versions is possible so that I can figure out what converts.
Load speed, flexibility of use especially the UX, integrations available, support.
Nothing really, perhaps a little high on the price but it's justified.
We run almost 250 landing pages on Instapage. In addition, the post submission questionnaires add a lot of value to our business for lead qualification.
I like the way that you can switch between desktop and smartphone versions. Moreoer the builder is very is to use.
I dislike nothing on instapage, everything is perfect!
With Instapage i'm able to create landing page for my google ads without indexing them on search engine.
The simplicity of building landing pages.
The templates are not the best and are hard to customize.
Using instapage to build out landing pages faster and with better UI in mind. The quick and easy implementation with our CRM and CMS.
- Landing pages are extremely quick to get up and running with minimal effort - It's easy to create appealing landing pages even without extensive design experience, especially with their extensive template selection - We've found it fairly painless to connect Instapage forms with our email marketing platform through Zapier - Receiving feedback from other members within our organization (who are not Instapage users) is simple with their commenting system - On the rare occasion we've had to contact their support team, they've been incredibly helpful and responsive
The inability to begin with a mobile-first design. We've been frustrated on many occasions with needing to begin with desktop first and with the limited customization options in the mobile view.
We have a small marketing team that needs tools that simplify campaign creation, and Instapage definitely fits into that bucket with how quickly we can stand up landing pages. Because it plays so nicely with Zapier, we're also able to integrate it with the rest of our marketing tools without too much additional effort. We've also been able to integrate it with our CMS through an easy-to-use plug-in, which allows our marketing team to publish pages to our domain with very little effort.
Instapage is pretty intuitive to navigate and create projects around. Organizing in folders and utilizing some of the plug-ins makes creating landing pages a lot simpler than working with IT or another team that manages website updates.
My only issue has been with bringing on new users or outside users. The two-week introduction to a personal pro version confuses a lot of users to realize they need to change accounts to get into an invited work account.
Easy development of landing pages that support campaigns without involving other depts or developers for support on pushing any website changes.
