Power, possibilities, and speed of implementation. No need for a month of planning, two months of coding, and a month for testing. All can be done in weeks. Super productive.
Lack of availability of proper education in Bubble
Everything impossible in Wix or even WP easily can be solved in Bubble. Super smart.
A great implementation of code-less app building, democratises software engineering. Also extensible if required.
Elastic search and page load speeds can be slow. However, this is improving. Unable to self host - a Docker based implementation or similar will be a great boon.
built and deployed a SaaS product. We brought development in-house and stopped outsourcing. Now have complete control of our engineering and product development.
no-code nature with the powerful API connector common sense logic backend API Forum Very responsive email support
Everytime you purchase something on the platform, it charges you per transaction (plugin, plugin, subscription). Some non-US credit cards charge an arm and a leg. No ability to test plugins on your side before you decide to purchase. The new free plan, the hobby was ideal for certain charitable projects. No ability to faciliate a GET from your app (besides data), someone can only ping you, and then you send back an API call with results
Business software for industries where generic software is not a good fit unless a company spends a fortune on customization Developed a powerful ERP, CRM, HRM, SRM ecosystem for a particular industry.
I like the ability to develop powerful apps quickly without the need to invest large sums of money upfront.
I dislike most the responsive engine. Its behavior is counterintuitive. Making pages responsive is a slog.
I'm now able to offer webs apps along with web pages.
It's reliable and freedom to handle custom cases by using external APIS and plugins and common cases are already handleable with pre-built stuff
There is reusability at the element level for a app but it can reuseable in other apps
There is template level reusability but there should be the ability to reuse elements and cases into other apps in a bubble
Intuitive interface. Without knowledge of any programming language, you can easily figure it out. There is also a forum where you can find answers to your questions.
yes, of course, the possibilities are limited compared to applications on the code, but you can always find some simplified solution that can be implemented on bubble
I’ve been working as a developer for more than 2 years, the applications that we create are cabinets for loyalty programs, personal accounts of users of different platforms
Intuitive development environment with powerful functionality
I would like more community, to share experience
create online stores + LMS
I have an idea, I can immediately implement it, immediately check it. Immediately I can fix the problems found and move on. The task can be solved in different ways.
There is no way to transfer the created product to third-party hosting.
First of all, this is a great opportunity to quickly create a MVP and check its performance. The benefits are speed and cost of development.
As it is a code-free programming language, it is so simple to build and host web apps. That is the reason why I liked this software a lot. If you are a non-tech savvy candidate, then this software is the right choice for you. I recommend you to go for it.
There is no boring HTML work or CSS programming so there are absolutely no reasons to dislike it.
I am able to design fantastic web apps without the need of writing any code. So, I loved this a lot in Bubble software. This software brings your website to life with cool animations and amazing layout.
free programming, easy to manipulate, simple software
very expensive, No-Code Development Services
nothing
It can pretty much make all the functions that you want
It is little hard to learn how to use it given its diverse usage
I use Bubble to make my own website for a business
You can immediately start using it productively from day one.
The system is closed. And you have no security that their terms may change or pricing may rise.
Testing ideas quickly.
The possibility of having the front end and the back end in one place
Not having direct access to the orginal code.
It has allowed me to create an application with which to start a business without having to hire a team of engineers.
I like that Bubble.io allowed me to create a front-end and log-in system for a logic and Database that I built in Airtable. However in Airtable it is hard to manage multiple users acessing and writing different data. Thats why tools such as Softr and Stacker have emerged. But those tools are very restricted, so I used Bubble and also benefited from the many third-party Plugins available in the Bubble system.
It took me several attemps before I really got warm with Bubble. The beginning is just not that much fun. Furthermore, the UI just looks very old and unprofessional at times. But everything works fine, so it does not really matter too much. Furthemore, the connection with Airtable could be better. Everything works, but sometimes I have to use some work-arounds.
Creating a front-end for my user to interact with a logic that I created in Airtable and with Make.com. Furthermore, it solves log-in and user management for me.
Amazing for testing things really quickly, has great db, integrating API is super useful as well.
Designing something that is very good looking is still quite hard, especially making it responsive. Wish there were more out of the box stuff.
Testing products really fast, creating free tools for engineering as marketing
I am able to customize everything. I am able to build a unique product without having any background or experience in programming.
It would be nice to have some guidance in terms of design that were built in. I find that it's easy to get focus on the nuts and bolts of getting something to perform in terms of functionality, but the design can look neglected. It would be nice if there were some easier ways to keep things more uniform automatically.
I am building a community of users. I am building an app from the ground up as an MVP to launch my start-up.
Best of all, you don't need to learn how to code and build websites. It is simple and intuitive. The fact that it has a visual interface with drag and drop greatly simplifies the task and optimizes time with really very good results. I have saved a lot of money because I have not needed to hire programmers.
I would improve the interface and add some additional tools. Sometimes it stays loading for a long time,I think optimizing it would be convenient since it has so many tools and options that I think it slows down drag and drop.
I have saved a lot of money and above all a lot of time, since I managed to adapt everything I needed for my project since I have not had to hire additional programmers, as it is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool since it does not need code, since it has saved time and money.
The ability to rapidly create and deploy functionality is amazing - on good days I can get done in a few hours would take a team of 5 people (BA, Devs, QA) a week or more.
Several things: 1) things that used to work suddenly break without warning and the resolution is sometimes bubble fixing a bug or me having to spend hours redoing something that worked 2) sometimes you are just swimming up stream - something you want to do just seems to be "anti-bubble" and you have to hunt for work-arounds 3) silly things are missing - for example, for years there was no built in way to format JSON. There are no variables in backend workflows. You can't send multiple values to a custom event. 4) The responsive mode is a nightmare 5) When there is an issue, getting support isn't as easy as it could be
I have built 2 game changing MVPs for my company single-handedly on Bubble. We learn from them and then build a version 2 with more traditional approaches. I'm working on #3.
- Ease of use for basic functionalities - Removing the need for DevOps - Vast array of plugins - Community / forums to ask questions
- Complex or large workflows are hard or impossible to synchronize
I built my Company's core software using Bubble. Main benefit is that our software is significantly more stable than the previous Angular.js one developed through contract developers. We re-built our software in 2-3months using Bubble.io.
