The networking tables set up are my favorite. It allows people to move between tables freely.
It takes a lot of upfront work to set up. The video resolution for presentation is not the best.
The ability to have networking sessions where people move between rooms freely and see all the options of where they can go.
The on and off-stage functionalities for hosts and speakers allow granular control of who is being displayed and prevent unwanted interference from other session participants.
The lack of backstage after a session has started. In a real event, speakers may join the session very late, so there is no way for hosts/co-hosts to do a backstage test with the speakers who came late. A workaround was to create a separate room to conduct the mic/video/presentation test with the late speaker, but it would be great to have this in-session backstage built-in. Besides that, I wish that PowerPoint files can be presented through Airmeet while being able for the speakers to view the online participants. Currently, speakers had to use a multi-monitor setup to view participants as slide presentation takes up one monitor. The approach can be similar to sharing PDFs, where the PDF is displayed in a smaller window so that Speakers can still see other Airmeet UI elements while navigating the PDF.
Airmeet simulates a physical conference pretty well, allowing us the flexibility to conduct a hybrid conference where physical participants and speakers can also listen to others sharing and interacting live from overseas.
Different features like announcement feature
Speaker not able to connect with multiple devices and a speaker cannot write on his/her tab to explain audiance better.
It is a wonderful platform to connect people virtually which is cheap and less time consuming due to no travel compared to a physical meeting.
We were conducting a remote conference and our internet went out briefly! Thankfully Airmeet was the "host" so the meeting didn't cut out. That would have been a nightmare!
A little tricky to learn at first but not too bad with all the support offered!
Hosting platform, lovely interface, very professional for a small company!
It's easy to create the events and add speakers.
I could not find a way to cancel an event I made by mistake.
The ability to host a conference online.
Easy to use, flexible, and great interface. Enjoy how customizable it is to showcase our branding during presentations, the look is very professional. And registration system is easy to manage, we share the link directly for promotion.
Sometimes had connection issues where the wifi bars are down, showing 1 bar instead of 3, but there was nothing I could do to diagnose it or fix it during the webinar. It meant my video was fine but my audio wasn't coming through.
Greater community of more engaged job candidates interested in our recruitment-type webinars. We've also used the tool to host a weekend-long Hackathon event where the social tables came in handy.
I love the backstage feature. It allows you to meet with panelist prior to going on stage. This really simulates an actual in-person experience where you get the opportunity to speak with others prior to presenting.
I did not like the feature that everyone, other than meeting host, could view stats for the event. This should be optional.
Airmeets solved the issue of us not being able to host an in-person event due to covid restrictions.
Networking platform was the best idea from airmeet for me. It opens many doors where a online seminar can go
Nothing was there to dislike but maybe the data it requires to smoothly enjoy the seminar is quite high.
Problem of the typical boring meets are being solved with airmeet
The platform is super easy to use overall. No one ever had issues logging on.
Analytics could be much better. Need the ability to showcase specific speakers, add virtual backgrounds, let people stay at networking tables, delete unused networking tables, have countdowns for speakers, and sort through attendees easier.
We were able to launch a conference successfully in record time due to the platforms ease of use.
- Round Tables - Backdrop while Speaker Speaks - Backstage - Emojis - Press and show your emotion. This helps to make the delivery of the speech more impactful.
- Difficult UI. Unfriendly for first-time users to navigate the platform - Should have a mail reminder option - Usually, miss our major audiences when new session starts
- It is easy to keep one platform for round tables/breakout rooms. - For our Demo Days, this platform seems to have a fantastic capability - Easy to run long programs and not too cliche UI.
Airmeet is a quality platform that has helped me create events that my clients have really enjoyed using. We've been able to offer full multi-day conferences through to Award nights and hour-long meetings. The best part of Airmeet and the thing that sets them apart is the Networking Lounge functionality. Being able to have tables available for delegates and attendees to meet together and turn on their cameras in a simple and easy-to-use format is definitely a massive benefit. The behind-the-scenes functionality has improved dramatically, and the new features that are slowly being added to the platform, are really making it a much more intuitive and powerful tool for Professional Event Production Companies like Aart Production Hosue to use. The support is also extremely helpful, and they will do whatever they possibly can do to make it a seamless experience for you, your speakers and your attendees.
There are still the occasional IP and protocol issues that pop up from time to time as it is a browser-based product. A lot of clients and their attendees work for large organisations with strict security protocol frameworks in place which do not always allow computers to share their video, receive a solid connection or be able to participate in the open camera communication. The cost for professionals can really get up there. However when you remember you are not paying for a physical event location, travel and event sundry expenses anymore, it does make a lot of sense.
It is solving the difficulty of allowing attendees' networking that does not need to be monitored or managed by the producers like other software. A web-based software that does not need an app or program locally downloaded. Great support when things can go wrong (it is technology.... they will go wrong). It is a streamlined solution that removes the need for external software, resources and people.
I like how you can invite directly all the people from the platform, though it is a bit difficult to understand the different invitation formats. Asides from that is smooth working.
1. Backstage could be improved, there are some missing functionalities as to grab people from the public or the speakers and send them to the backstage any time and not only when the session hasn't begin or it has endeed. Otherwise, it is complicate to keep ending and restarting the sessions. That happens as well, when you plan a schedule and you have to close the actual session to pass into the next one, it should be optional as from time to time the transmission is continous so it gets tricky to get everyone out of the session and start the new one. Also you should be able to select from the schedule when to start directly. 2. That you need to pay quite beforehand, even if it is just for the invitation process, I would suggest to have a pay per event tariff and/or just allow registrations beforehand the payment. 3. For the polls it is very limited just to have 5 options and totally uneusefull for NPS purposes. Also, wasn't appearing on the polls section everytime in the cellphone. 4. You don't have a registration funcionality with a description section, such as it would be with eventbrite, that functionality is also super important and useful. 5. Would like to have more design options for the background of the stage, at least for color. 6. Why can't you just change the quantity of the tables for the networking once the event has started, that's ridiculous. Also you could add a functionality for the speed networking to start automatically for everyone, as with gatheround. Many of our attendees find it complicated to enter the speed networking by themselves. 7. Don't think it is usefull to put forcely the name of the person sharing their screen.... Specially when most of the times it has to be the support team.
Useful to integrate the sessions and networking within one platform and as well that participants don't have ability to open mics directly or so on, but it could also be useful to enable mics and cameras on demand if allowed by the host.
Its very intuitive, clean, and simple to use
Nothing really, there are little improvements here and there that are need.
Simple easy to run virtual conferences
Landing Page UI - Good details and relevant information is shown to the participant or registrant Platform UI - Enables a lot of features to interact with the participants, gestures, connecting with speakers during the session which is controlled by the host
Consumes a lot of bandwidth leading to speakers dropping off in between the session, if the bandwidth fluctuates a lil the speakers easily see them dropped off the platform, i feel the tech team look into it. The product is costly, if you are a user who wants to host meetups/events with 100-200 ppl I will surely recommend using the free version. For more conference-like features, it is a good product but costly.
Benefits Participants are not bored while waiting for the event to start, they can use virtual tables to connect with fellow participants and it leaves them being part of a community :) Enables more brainstorming - Be able to get interested folks on stage with speakers during the session, fully controlled by the host
Tables are great but are not always immediately intuitive to the audience - they need to be familiarized with the concept. Love emojis, want more options. Being able to upload videos in advance is a LIFESAVER. It is a super alternative to Zoom and much preferred by our team.
Needs options for language interpretation!! This is critical for our audience. Needs more accessibility options (e.g. couldn't figure out how to enable closed captioning.) The attendee-user experience is wonderful but the back end (organizing the event) needs some work, it is not always intuitive to set up the features we want. For example polls are hidden until you preview the event. Also polls should be more prominent to the audience. There should be a chat just for backstage. We'd like to be able to simultaneously stream to multiple platforms (please add Instagram) Needs more options for automated emails to registrants
Big multi-hour events are so much more fun than Zoom Networking tables foster collaboration
Airmeet was quick to standup and get running. We're using the platform to launch our first digital conference and out of 3 other platforms, Airmeet was an easy winner. When testing, no one had issues getting on, there was nothing to download, sessions were easy to transition in/out of.
The platform could benefit from additional customizations and flexibility. I'd like to have the ability to choose what speaker to pin during sessions + roundtables, automatic countdowns between sessions (for speakers), and better reporting in real-time.
We are using Airmeet to launch a digital conference in record time. The pricing is more than fair and overall it's been a life saver for our team.
Booths section is organized in a very good way.
Event organizer is not supported on mobile application.
Making an online event or exhibition.
The various features offered to the host, the speaker and the participants are awesome. The lobby, backstage and lounge are really great. Probably the best is the backstage where you can make the speaker comfortable.
Some bugs. Like Total participants in the meet didn't counted mobile users. Some more helpful videos to explain about the various features would be great.
Making the speakers comfortable with the platform that are offered in the backstage. Logging attendance, having smooth event throughout. No lag, playback issues while sharing on screen content.
The graphics and the visual layout the platform provides. The minor details the platform covers create a real time experience.
The platform is a data heavy one, it require a lappy and lots of mobile data to operate on. Although it provides lite mode too.
The events that out organization do are best suited at the platform it almost cover all of our needs like promoting sponsors, connecting audience, etc.
