As one of the pioneering Kanban web-based project management platforms, more than 2 million teams are now using Trello worldwide since its launch in 2011. Trello is best known for its simple visual interface, with cards that can be moved across different columns. Each card holds all the information teams and assignees need to deliver on projects and execute tasks efficiently. Over the years, Trello has introduced robust improvements to its systems, which include a proprietary built-in and no-code automation feature called Butler. There are also add-ons called Power-Ups that allow teams to link your most-used productivity and business tools with Trello plugins.

You can create boards to organize tasks and projects. Add cards to represent individual tasks or items. It is possible to assigh due dates to cards for deadline management.
No aversion. Use labels to categorize and prioritize tasks. You can comment on cards to collaborate and communicate. Attach files to cards for easy access.
You can set reminders to stay on top of important tasks. Ability to move cards across lists to track progress. You can invite team members to collaborate on boards. Customize your board layout to fit your workflow.
Trello is so user-friendly that many of the teams I have worked with had less trouble adopting it for their use - people of all ages can quickly learn to use it. Other similar software tends to be clunky and requires a lot of onboarding, but Trello does not seem to create the same obstacles. Whether using a personal to-do list or creating synergy with a team and various deadlines (using Boards), you know everyone will feel good about their work.
The challenge is that some limitations cannot be overcome (but you can adapt) because the software is not intended for in-depth work - you get the broad strokes of the projects whereas other software can provide the opportunity to track the minutiae. The user-friendly aspect makes it all worth it.
Organizing across programs and projects as well as when a team is involved in the efforts.
- Trello uses board layout which makes it easy for what we need to do and assign members responsible for that task. - Team members can work on card simultaneously. - Great customisation like changing color, background etc. - Integrates with many other tools and allows to connect it with existing software - Great free plan which is helpful for a small number of members.
- There is no support of inbuilt time tracking or loggin feature. - For larger projects it can be complex to handle all the moving parts. - Lack of charts which creates problems for teams which have to track dependencies and schedules.
- Working over tasks and keeping a checklist of items within the projects and collaborating with other team members in it. - Able to use Trello from mobile app as well so managing tasks on the fly is easy
Everything - from ability to see what tasks my workers did or doing from ability to save documents in the certain card I can delegate tasks easily now and will use it more in future
Sometimes im losing my card - I can archive them accidentally and then can't find anything, and I could have important documents in these cards Also I dont like that someone else can touch cards on my desk - accidentally or on purpose
I can easily delegate tasks and look who is responsible for each project, who is free and who is busy. I can watch and see to whom I can delegate this or that task depending on their employment.
Trello has proven to be an invaluable tool for organizing and managing tasks, projects, and collaborations. Its intuitive and visually appealing interface and robust features make it a game-changer for individuals, teams, and businesses alike. One of the standout features of Trello is its flexibility. The platform utilizes a simple yet powerful card-based system that allows users to create, customize, and track tasks effortlessly. Whether you're a seasoned project manager or someone new to task management, Trello's drag-and-drop functionality makes it incredibly easy to organize and prioritize tasks in a way that suits your workflow.
Learning Curve for Advanced Features: While Trello's basic features are easy to grasp, some more advanced features and customization options may require a learning curve, especially for new users. Lack of Advanced Automation: Trello's automation capabilities are somewhat limited. While it offers some automation options, additional automation features for repetitive tasks and notifications could be beneficial. Limited Reporting and Analytics: Trello's reporting and analytics capabilities are less robust than other project management tools. Users seeking in-depth data analysis may find the available options lacking.
Trello is a game-changer in the realm of task management and collaboration
I like the flexibility to switch between projects.
Nothing as such i faced while working on that.
Task assignment & getting feedback.
I love how Trello sort my task and task of my team. Thea backgrounds are so lit as well makes our work environment fun to look at.
There are times it will be slow due to a lot of people using it in our office but other than that Trello is the best.
Sorting and organizing our task weekly, monthly and quarterly.
The template provides a very convenient base to start with. The themes available to us also make it more engaging. It is straightforward to add teammates and collaborate on Trello.
There are too many navigation options and stuff going on the website which made me as a new use a lot confused.
It helps manage and track all the tasks done, in progress, and to be done. Gives a good idea of the progress of the project. I can also look at the teammates progress and status.
The best feature of using Trello boards is how simple it is to manage lists across many platforms, whether you want to view them from a computer, mobile device, web application, or even mobile application. It syncs and works without a hitch.
Trello has all the coolest and best features in the premium version, so buying it for an individual can be a hassle. This is one of the things that discourages people from relying on it. If we are purchasing for an organisation, everything is in order. We do also have a trial period.
It is capable of resolving cross-platform cooperation for the project, sync between all participants, real-time viewing, and undoubtedly the most crucial, tracking of the modifications done and by whom.
Best for project management/team management to update all the tasks, like what you have done and what you are doing most multinational companies use this software to update the team
As this is a good management tool, so nothing in this that it is easy to use so i like this tool nothing to dislike this tool and I would suggest this software to all.
Trello solves many problems as, small and large both teams can use this software for project management , team management , task management, and i would suggest this
The best thing about using the Trello boards is the easy managing of the lists across multiple platforms, if you want to access it from mobile, computer, web application, or even mobile application. It syncs and operates smoothly.
The things which make one hesitant to rely on Trello are, it has all the cool and best features in premium, so if one gets it for the individual it is a bit of a headache. If we are getting for an organisation it is good to go. We do have the trial period as well. The second thing which lacks about Trello is the feature of time tracking is lacking, even the Gantt chart if it was introduced, would be a perfect tool as many complex projects need these features.
It is able to solve collaboration for the project across multiple platforms, sync between all the contributors and real-time viewing and for sure the most important, tracking of the changes made and by whom.
Trello is a great tool for managing different kinds of projects. You can use it for personal goals, group work, or even daily tasks. Trello lets you organize your work in a simple and fun way. You can create boards, lists, and cards to show what you need to do and how you’re doing it. You can also change the look and feel of your boards to suit your preferences. Trello has many benefits for users. One benefit is that it helps you work well with others. You can share tasks, set deadlines, and see how everyone is doing. This way, you can communicate clearly and avoid confusion. Another benefit is that it can handle different kinds of projects. You can use it for anything from school assignments to business plans. Trello also works well with other tools and apps that you might use, making your work easier and faster.
You can only have a certain number of boards in the free version. If you need more boards, you have to pay for them. This might be a problem for some users who have a lot of projects and not enough money. This can be especially frustrating if your client is not willing to pay for more boards and you have to work with what you have. Another bad thing is that sometimes people forget to tag each other and it can be hard to see everything when you have a lot of cards on your boards. You might forget something or not see the whole picture. Lastly, for some users who are new to Trello or similar tools, it might take some time to learn how to use it well and get the best out of it.
I use Trello like a Kanban board and a project Dashboard. I divvy up tasks there, but I also link all the resources related to the project. This includes EVERYTHING from planning documents to issue trackers to CRMs to code repositories.
One of the best things about the Trello board is its ability to easily utilise KANBAN boards and organise them in a way that meets my requirements. Another feature i want to highlight here is "collaboration feature", which our team uses on a regular basis to collaborate on projects at the same time.
To be honest, there isn't anything i dislike about the trello so far. It works fine with all of my requirements. it has an intuitive design, is easy to use and perfectly fits our needs. simplely awesome!!
My team and I work on multiple projects at the same time. We strongly required to track our progress in each stage of development and trello helps us with that. It helps us save time and makes everything easy to handle. Templates are really cool fo getting started with new projects easily.
I like how deeply and thoroughly you can organize your team, boards, and to dos. The cards make it easy to keep track of all your tasks, set reminders, and even customize colors.
It's honestly a great, basic tool! It might be more beneficial for larger organizations to go with a more robust tool that allows for deeper cabailities, but this is great for small teams!
Trello is allowing me and my team to stay organized and keep to our deadlines. It's allowing me to spend less time tracking down my to dos and more time working on what's essential.
Trello is must use tool for any team to manage the project in the best possible way. Trello has different views and boards to visualize the progress and project tasks in the best way. Trello also allows one to upload other files like photos for a better understanding of tasks.
Trello provides the really best features but still there are some points where they can improve is: - Access Control: One should be able to manage the access for different teams and people.
We are a software development company and we have many projects going on in parallel. Trello helps us to manage all the projects easily.
Trello improves how I organize my freelance work life. Provides a visual easy to grasp view of where I am up to with projects and associated tasks. Trello is accessible from all my devices, phone, tablet and PC. Have tried many project organizers, and found Tredllo the easiest to use.
Free version does not have all the features compared to some organizers such as Asana, but has enough for my needs. Can be a little slow when using on my computer. Some advanced features require Premium subscription
How to keep on top of day-to-day tasks without losing sight of longer term goals. Improves my productivity and makes up for memory lapses/
User interface is excellent...easy to use ...easy to implement...seamless integrations
nothing actually i love using Trello it is awesome
it is helping me a lot in managing my operations
