- easy to use - easy to change projects - best way to manage people + task reminder
Some of my colleague doesn't know English
Time management and manage project tasks. It helps us be concentrated
I love the fact that you can see all the task with the status and progress. Also it acts like a personal assistant who never forgets to remind you.
Nothing really, I can't really think of something about the software i don't like
I have multiple film projects whose status is difficult to track so teamgantt makes it easy to track the status of everything
Flexible scheduler, Print Perfect output, Task planning
Nothing to be pointed out. Would be great for if there's a mobile app
We are preparing schedule for all our sprints using TeamGantt and our leadership team is impressed with the interactive view. Without scheduler we use spreadsheet earlier which was not a print friendly output. After we started using TeamGantt, all our project stakeholders are impressed with how it works.
Overall ease of use, killer UX. Ability to share permanent links even with free plan.
I have some minor cribs, e.g. shared perma-links do not show labels on tasks. However, nothing major.
I used TeamGantt primarily for Program planning, co-ordination, stakeholder communication and dependency management. A link to my program plan in TeamGantt is always embedded in my daily and weekly reports. It helps me stay on top of a very large and complex product delivery program. Not a day goes by when I do not pull up TeamGantt to communicate overarching direction to the execution teams as well as the business stakeholders. Thanks to TeamGantt, I've been able to achieve high degree of alignment within stakeholders, product owners, and execution teams!
I love the simple intuitive layout, various zoom functions and dependencies.
I'd like to see a 'small screen' strip out of the gantt.
Sharing of project timelines and product plans. Gaining clarity on projects, tasks and having the ease to update on the go.
Teamgantt has been a lifesaver for many of my projects throughout the years, the ease of use and built-in ability to manage time and workload for the whole team has been invaluable.
Could use better integration for other major tools (slack, hipchat, jira, Google suite, to name a few).
Teamgantt helped get my teams organized and scheduled quickly and efficiently. No more juggling schedules or flipping back & forth to make sure we have enough resources scheduled.
It's very easy to add/see tasks required to complete each job and when the project is due to be completed
I get too many email reminders of tasks due but I think i can change the frequency.
all team members can see progress on all jobs. Easy to see end dates and a work schedule for upcoming jobs/tasks
The clean easy to use HTML 5 functionality and interface layout design that is web accessible.
Not a lot really, some could say it's not a huge detailed PM tool with tons of features, but it pretty much covers everything that you would need for a large day-today project.
Large educational Website design & build
The fact that it is 100% cloud based and so easy to use. My entire team is able to access the software on any device and see what they are supposed to be doing that day, report on progress, and communicate needs.
There wasn't anything that I encountered that I did not like. There were some features in the paid version that I wished were free, but I understand the need to have something for people to pay for too.
I am the Director of Technology at a private school and our summer projects can be overwhelming. There is so much to get done and so little time. TeamGantt allowed our whole team to map out our projects, assign the tasks, and track completion together. It was great!
Basic and easy to understand platform. Excellent training videos and support.
There isn't anything that comes to mind.
We use TeamGantt in our entire company to map out all projects across all resources - and share them with our customers.
The thing I like the most is the ability to create a visual for dependencies. This has been a critical element in our infrastructure upgrade as Salem Elementary.
We are still in our trial phase with this application and to be honest I really haven't found anything I dislike about it!
I work as part of a three person IT team at one of the largest elementary schools in the state of Wisconsin and we are the largest single campus K-8 elementary school in the state. We experience all the same infrastructure growing pains and issue that other schools do but on a much larger scale. This being said we our projects take on a much larger scale as well. Currently our school is in the process of a school wide infrastructure upgrade and we are utilizing support from USAC to partially fund the upgrade. Choreographing and managing an infrastructure upgrade is a fairly large project but then you add the intricacies of securing funding from USAC and now you have added dependencies to the mix that aren't always the easiest to articulate. The visual that Team Gantts application provides is helping us to better understand and communicate project task dependencies. In short this application does exactly what it is designed to do and it does it incredibly well. It allows one to visually break down large complex tasks into smaller more manageable tasks and then monitor the progress of the each task, and analyze task dependencies.
Easy gantt creating that look wonderfull Easy to collaborate with all team member Link of the project is accessible from other software (ex. our project portefolio) Support, the support team is fantastic
Actually TG i a really great tool to collaborate what make it wonderfull is that it is so easy to use that anywone can use it. Maybe some power user used to MS project could find that there is some deep dive project manager feature that are missing
Collaboration, sharing project planning, easy to use project management tool
TeamGantt offers amazing 'at a glance' PM tools. While many people may have differing opinions on the old 'waterfall' approach, you don't have to think of it that way. It's dynamic tools and abilities to sort tasks make it super fast for scanning team tasks and getting everyone up to speed.
We'd love to see some more integrations. We simply haven't found the 'one tool to rule them all,' so our organizations continue to rely on Basecamp. It'd be great if TeamGantt could revisit the old Basecamp integrations that have gone dormant.
We operate with a very small team, so tasks and timelines are constantly shifting. TeamGantt allows us to easily adjust entire project timelines on the fly. Moreso, it allows the entire team to see these timelines (and changes) at a glance. We aren't spending all day digging through todo lists; it allows us to more-rapidly consume information, figure out what's on our plates, and get things done!
The ease of use, simplicity and yet powerful features that it offers. The fact that it's web based is an amazing plus for external collaborators. It's easy to share schedules, tasks and project overview with other team members. It's solid and fast, I already have 7 months worth of planning on my project and it's as responsive and usable as the first day. It's really hard for me not to recommend it, and I can't imagine working without it in the future.
There is very little to dislike. Its every aspect is well curated and functional, even people new to gantt charts can pick it up and use it quickly and effectively.
Before landing on Teamgantt I was having a hard time having an accurate overview of the time that went into each completed feature of the project, and the projection estimates. I tried Trello, but it wasn't giving me the bird's eye view I needed to properly manage a multi-year spanning project. I felt amazingly empowered as soon as I finished migrating all tasks, it finally made sense, and gave me the insight I was looking for.
User-ability, simple, configurable, smart
Limited sharing options, no JIRA workflow link
Easily manage team goals and project management, love the drag and drop capabilities and customisations.
That I can see the big picture as far as project deadlines go, but also move in and see details to get workin'
At this moment in time, I have yet to encounter something I don't enjoy.
We're. meeting. deadlines.
The easiness of adding and controlling different timelines, ease of control and onboarding new people.
Needs more improvement on the working speed, usually takes time to load the flash (i would imagine) and moving stuff around is not sometimes straight forward (due to the speed issue). One more concrete small annoying thing I found if you want to extend the timeline of a task beyond the months you see on the table at that moment it gets stuck, need to drag it couple of times.
it provides a visual understanding of a project lifecycle so you can see bottlenecks and concrete problems the project will face in the future.
Ease of use. So easy to set up a project.
Probably the left hand frame - information & links are food, but I think it needs a little more UX feedback into the design
Managing task detail across teams. We're currently transferring hundreds of courses from one learning management system to another which includes some course redesign & has multiple touch points & tight timelines. I needed a tool that was easy to invite team members to do updates in.
The tutorials are simple, right sized videos that are lazer focused on one topic at a time.
The zooming can get tricky. Changing the time frame and the window zoom takes a little getting used to.
Providing an easy to read summary of dependent projects/milestones to stakeholders while loading up the plan with all of the details required.
The visual interface and the dependencies. The visual look is very aesthetic because it is quite simple, and has multiple possibilities for formatting, such as many colours. It is also very useful to be able to assign people, hours and add comments to specific tasks. We chose teamgantt because we had to plan for a complex project with many overlapping tasks and dependencies, so the dependency function is the one we have used most. The automatic rescheduling for dependent tasks by toggling is quite handy as well. It is great to be able to download the information in .csv format. In general, TeamGantt is a great tool for planning a project and seeing how tasks develop on a timeline.
We wanted to plan a complex project with over 100 tasks over the course of 10 years, and it was a bit difficult with the current platform, which supports well hours and days, but not so much a view by months and years. It would be useful to be able to have a "month view" and not just a "week view", and be able to add durations to tasks, rather than just a start and end date. Also, although the automatic rescheduling for dependent tasks is very useful, it can also be detrimental if tasks have dependencies other than "start-to-finish" - for example for tasks that have some overlap, or that have to begin at the same time but have different lengths. Finally, it would have been very useful to have a "dependency report", that is, be able to see which tasks are dependent on which in a global way. Right now this is possible but only by clicking on tasks individually.
We use TeamGantt to plan and follow-up on the schedule of complex projects over the course of several months. For this, the possibility to use different colours and filtering by those colours has been very useful, as well as the possibility to create groups and subgroups of tasks. In general, the visual interface is a very clear and beautiful way to visualise the project.
