It is the tool closest to a real-life experience because the participants can walk around a room and smoothly join groups and conversations.
Nothing. It is an overall good experience. There is sometimes room for improvement, but the spatial chat team is always open to feedback and fixes bugs straight away.
We organised scientific conferences. It is essential for us that the guests can follow lectures and stroll around poster sessions or the cafeteria for networking within the same tool. People are free to move between rooms and to get in contact. Especially for newcomers, it can be interesting to approach a group of people and listen before joining the conversation.
Everyone enjoyed the functionality and the ability to choose who to talk to and when. Free engagement by all was precisely the experience we were trying to create.
It would be helpful to have a secure access method. We had no security issues, but we were aware that we could have
We had 125 people worldwide (all across Europe (Spain, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey), India, China, and the USA. I can't think of another method of getting these people together in one place for a free-flowing discussion without spending tens of thousands of dollars.
It is easy to use - makes a lot of fun and the people can move and talk to everyone they like. I still think it is still a hidden champion in online meeting software space!
User Tracking is not yet available which is very important for business events. But it´s on the roadmap - let´s see how it will be working!!
Fast setup, easy in scale for events, and the plattform works very stable.
Really mimicks a real-life poster session: you can have different poster rooms and a lobby; you have a little avatar that you can move around; when your avatar is far from other people's avatars, you don't hear them, when you get closer, you do; you can zoom in on the poster, so you can clearly see every detail. Overall, a really nice experience
Honestly, there were basically no downsides, everything was great and easy to use
We had to switch our conference to an online one because of the pandemic, and we had already set everything up with Zoom, but organizing the poster session that way would've been very difficult. Spatial Chat solved that problem beautifully, and we're actually sorry we didn't use them for the lecture portion of our conference as well.
It´s a great tool and a great team, who made it. Fluid, easy to handle and a smart design.
I try to find anything I didn't like - but I can't find.
Getting in touch easily, very quickly login, smart way of including videos an music (we had a DJ in our room - nice!)
The customisability and the interactivity! It's great to be able to change your room to fit the themes, and also for participants to share their own videos and photos and links. All of Spatial is my favourite, honestly - many participants said that it mimics actual social interaction and felt like a face-to-face social.
It would be good to upload your own gifs. Also the warning sign for having too many elements on the screen covers up the gif search bar for a long time. Many of the invited speakers were not able to share their screen because they only had one monitor and if they shared their powerpoint window then they couldn't go full-screen or see spatial etc. It's not an easy problem for you to fix, but it was a common problem. Some participants asked for voice snippits and file sharing.
Spatial solves the problem of accessibility - allowing people to contribute and ask questions and be a part of the conversation without the awkwardness of trying to have a group conversation on zoom. The benefits were very clear when using Spatial for the career fair - as it could simulate a large hall of many different companies talking to participants, showing videos of their laboratories, whilst participants could move freely to each group.
The ability to move in a virtual space offers lots of opportunities that can really improve the quality of virtual events! It's more efficient and fun to gather many people, especially for big online conferences.
Some little things should be added such as : recognizing easily your location in a space ; names of people who are speaking on stage.
Due to the pandemic, our scientific conference hasn't taken place. Thanks to SpatialChat, we had this opportunity to make a 100% virtual event, gathering more people than expected. We had a great poster session, enjoyed by most of the participants. We met and discussed with many people worldwide, and it was enriching for everybody.
I particularly appreciate that Spatial Chat is a 2D experience that allows anyone to quickly move around the meeting spaces without learning how to navigate. We tried other products with the 'Z-Axis' and even heard a story of a person who missed a meeting because they were 'Stuck' behind a flower pot in a virtual space. Spatial Chat gives you the flexibility to design beautiful environments that don't require you to be a gamer to use.
Spatial Chat is very responsive in terms of new feature requests - The only limitation that we are working with today is that sometimes people will not be able to see a screen share because they have too many tabs open on their machine and don't have the resources to see it. This feels like a short term issue as newer machines seem to have no problem at all.
Spatial Chat allows us to give students the feel of arriving at a place (Our SaaSy Sales Leadership virtual campus) with the flexibility to explore rooms and meet people for side-chats that is simply impossible with standard meeting products. We needed to find a way to recreate our in-person training experience, including the ability to have adhoc 1:1 conversations - SpatialChat has been perfect for this. We have received high praise from ALL attendees due to the investment we made in the experience. We also conduct many of our new client meetings in the virtual space, which has ensured that the differentiated environment is experienced by new clients reviewing our offerings
Ability to create multiple rooms in Spacial Chat
There is nothing to dislike about Spacial Chat
I used Spacial Chat to host our annual research forum virtually this year. I was able to build a conference space with multiple rooms for different sessions. The forum was scheduled for two days, and each day, we had more than ten live sessions happening simultaneously without any issues :) We had two platforms for presentations, podium and poster presentations. Each podium session and poster session had a separate room. All presentations were delivered live. Each day we had more than 100 people attending sessions. We did not have any issues in Spacial Chat, and the platform worked perfectly. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees regarding the platform, such as "This is the best virtual platform I have come across among multiple virtual conferences." I loved the Spacial Chat's microphone and megaphone functions. The microphone is much suitable for poster sessions, and you can have multiple poster presentations happening simultaneously in the same room. The megaphone can be used to address the whole room, and this is suitable for moderators of a session or for podium presentation sessions, where you present to the entire audience in the room. One more function I like is the "Stage" room. This feature was used for our award ceremony. The platform is very user-friendly and easy to learn how to navigate. I researched few other platforms before choosing Spacial Chat and among them all Spacial Chat had all features I wanted such as the ability create to multiple rooms, ability to have multiple podium and poster presentations happening in multiple rooms simultaneously, the ability to have mutiple poster presentations happening simultaneously in the same room, and the ability to have more than 20 people in the same room. No other platform I researched had these capabilities and they were also expensive with limited futures. Spacial Chat on the other hand offers all these functions and to top that it was cost effective. All in all, I was impressed with the SpacialChat, and I believe our virtual research forum wouldn't be a success if we had used a different platform. I highly reccomnd Spacial Chat!
It's a game-changing platform for virtual events, the next level of the in-person experience. We migrated to SC from Zoom and never regretted
Honestly, I can't think of any downside atm
We make product demos, weekly sync-up calls with clients, internal meet-ups, etc.
I am a conference organizer and SpatialChat enables everything I need for successful networking. Especially, I want to highlight support from the SpatialChat team (even though it works like a charm and it's unlikely that you would need their help). A few advantages for conference organizers: 1. The interface is intuitive. All participants have control over who they want to talk to, whenever they want to. 2. Attendees can socialize in smaller, manageable groups while still being connected in a larger space (not boring 1 to many kind of zoom call) 3. Q&A for up to 50 people - we draw awesome backgrounds where the speakers can sit on a chair, and the attendees surround them. The megaphone feature comes across as very helpful in that case. The conversations always feel very intimate and inclusive in these crazy times. 4. We create rooms for sponsors where they run their activities - the entire expo is very dynamic and enables hot leads generation for the sponsors. You can even broadcast to all rooms when something important is happening. I can continue, but the best you can do is to try it, and you will see it makes a big difference.
I love the product and there is nothing that I dislike
How do you make an online conference that is worth attending live? Why should an attendee dedicate their time to watch it now instead of watching it later on YT? The answer is networking - that is the problem that my company solving with SpatialChat!
Spatial.chat is good enough for all kinds of events. Perfect platform!
nothing, everything is very good and clear
- business event - teambuilding - lectures - conferences - parties
Very easy to use and the only tool so far that can begin to break down the distance of online interactions. The SpatialChat team also provides an excellent service, extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Guests were enthusiastic and had a lot of fun using the platform, and didn't have any issues learning how to use it.
No significant downsides, will be good to see more features get added in the future, but all those that are currently present work great.
We used SpatialChat to organize an online event with over 100 people for a large corporation. The freedom of interaction provided by the platform was a great enhancement to the event, especially when compared to most traditional tools.
SpatialChat provides a virtual space where you can meet with friends or co-workers. My favorite feature is that you can share the room, and the volume in the conversation will amplify or reduce as you get closer or further respectively. You can also share your screen, or a video that will play like if it were in a screen.
In general I like the tool very much and I believe it's well made. But I wish I had a better understanding of how the data is used and how secure the platform is. E.g., if I'm meeting with co-workers, I'd be thinking of what information we share through the tool.
I'm looking for a way to meet virtually or remotely, especially for distributed teams, and for teams that can't meet when there are travel restrictions. Some extra benefits I've realized include that this platform is original and fun. I love the feel and touch and the fact that breakout rooms can happen in the same room without interfering with each other. Anyone can move closer to other groups which would be the equivalent of leaving a breakout room and joining a new one.
This is the best platform for bringing the magic of a IRL event into the virtual world (lots of possibilities)
Hoping there will soon be a better music integration feature - we will often include a dance party room!
I work for a virtual school and SpatialChat is our preferred platform for big dances like prom and homecoming. It's so immersive and creates a unique experience
