Frase is a content optimization software that also works as a chatbot tool, however, both features are sold separately. It also uses AI to optimize content and can reliably improve your content development to help outrank the competition. Frase’s outline builder is known for creating intelligent outlines perfectly optimized for target keywords and FAQs. It has great analytics and comes with real-time topic scoring. Content optimization workflows are included and are scalable depending on business needs. You can also easily import content from URLs and Google Docs can easily be integrated.

Frase has been a company that has become an integral part of our journey. We have reduced our costs substantially by cutting down the time consumed towards our content creation goals. I cannot possibly convey in words as to how content we are with Frase. Frase has essentially created a well-oiled machine in the content creation department for us. I am highlighting a few things that make me happy to have chosen Frase The research for content creation has been the best feature we stand by. We just need to provide the seed keyword and Frase practically sieves through the internet and provides us with the information we need to start our content creation process. We now know what content competitors have and we just need to focus on bettering the content. The actual content creation with a measure of content effectiveness by way of publishing a "Topic Score" is again a great leveler. We can now churn out content that is above par than what is already available on the internet. The AI writer is another space that I cannot talk enough about. We now have semantically relevant content created at a click of a button. We need to just polish it off after the creating process thereby reducing a great deal of time and effort. SEO Addon, I do not now need Ahrefs. Enough said! The Team!! The team at Frase is the best I've seen yet. Special mention to Tommy Rgo, who is active on the Facebook page conversing with us, solving our issues, creating webinars to answer the simplest of questions, and providing us with valuable information on the features that we can look forward to.
I am a proponent and an evangelist for Frase. There isn't anything I am unhappy about.
Cutting down on time thereby cutting down on costs. My writer now knows what my idea is for a particular piece of content. All I need is the "Content Brief" which I can spin in a minute. Referring to Topic Score to churn out the best content possible.
I LOVE that Frase has created a process that I can easily follow each time I'm creating content. It's almost like a recipe that allows me to focus on the writing and not worry about spending that extra time pulling in research and links. Cuts my time in half!
I think the writing interface could be a little more interactive. Sometimes it pulls in the styling if I copy and paste and I'd rather it didn't and just kept it plain text
Th problem of researching a topic then analyzing the top results. Which is a big task and often takes longer than writing the article itself. Giving me a structure in writing really helps.
Using the questions that people are asking along with the Find Passages and Paraphrase tool is really helpful when providing more content recommendations to our clients. We also use the Content Brief to share with clients so they can see what is happening in the SERP from the top-ranking pages for desired queries.
Nothing specific, but we are curious about potentially being able to connect Frase to a Google Data Studio to help see high volume trends in terms that a page might not be ranking for or something like that.
Finding additional questions to create headers along with the find passages and paraphrase tool helps save time. One of our clients wanted more heavy content recommendations in some of the briefs we do, so it is easier to give options using these tools.
Frase can truly help you improve your content. Between the various tools they offer, you can polish your content to a point where everything you SHOULD cover is covered. I like that Frase helps you cover the topic thoroughly, quickly scan high-ranking content for things you may have missed (or should add), find additional questions you can add and "paraphrase" content using an AI bot the help you write faster. After publishing content you can link to Google Search Console and optimize existing content (and track how it's doing) - this is one thing I love having come to Frase with a few hundred posts already published. It's worth the time it takes to figure it out - and it ends up being more powerful than you even thought. I also really like that you can share documents with external people and they can edit using all the same tools you have available. This saves time (and money).
As mentioned in the title, there is a bit of a steep learning curve. This is good, because, while there's a lot to learn, it doesn't take too long. The platform is fairly intuitive, but it's not intuitive at the same time. Let me explain; while it's easy to figure out how to get started - create a document, target keywords/topics, write and optimize - it takes a little while to really become efficient at it. It also takes some time to figure out what all the tools do and how to use them correctly. I found myself wondering what the best way was to use all of the different "bells & whistles" in order to not only write GREAT content but also do it quickly and at scale. After a few months, I've finally started to figure it out and am only now realizing how powerful it is. There are probably tutorials out there but because the UI is so intuitive I thought I didn't need them... because the ease of use belies the complexity of use. The other thing I don't like (maybe because I haven't figured it out, or because it doesn't exist yet) is that you can connect to your website via a Wordpress integration, but I can't find any way to publish directly to my site from Frase - which is the pitch in the description
I need to optimize a few hundred existing articles across a few websites. At the same time, I have hundreds of article ideas ready to assign to writers. With Frase, I'm able to optimize existing content fully (not quickly yet as I'm too particular), assign design briefs (documents) to writers and allow them to write optimized content using Frase without any additional licenses. Frase has helped me get started on this task and it's already showing results as some of the early content I optimized has moved from page 3 in the SERPs to position 9.
I use Frase.io to write an optimized blog for my website. This is an excellent time-saving tool for me because it gives me an outline of contents for my article based on top articles found on Google related to my topic, and it uses artificial intelligence to help me overcome writer's block. Also, being able to optimize my content based on the keywords found allows me to write SEO optimized blog with ease on one platform. The founder is also very active in the Facebook Group community, and he is constantly improving the product. I have high expectations for Frase. Additionally, they have AI-assisted chatbots that I have not really used yet, however I am interested in exploring it more.
It is possible that the information that AI generates is not factual. As a result, I hope Frase implements output based on Serp data to generate related content. When implemented, I believe it will be a true game-changer and outperform all competitors, including Jarvis or Scalenut. Also, I wish they add in more AI templates to use such as blog conclusion.
Overcoming my writer's block and creating SEO-optimized content that will help me rank. It has saved me tons of time. It's a must tool for all writers.
Frase combines some incredible features for individual writers and teams. It provides a great and visually engaging platform easily shared between clients. The sidebar on the right side enables you to optimize for the top 20 SERPs based on common terms found there. I've used this platform to rank high on SERPs. The platform compiles things in a way that recalls links, headers, overall topics, questions, and headers. Recently introduced AI features are still being worked on, but the community has created numerous templates to make things easier. It's a work in progress, but it's a strong work in progress.
Because Frase is WIP, the navigation can change from time to time. Like other AI platforms, it throws out a lot of nonsense. SurferSEO's content score platform has more. development. But Frase is much easier to approach and has a better way to help develop your blog structure
With Frase, I can easily and quickly produce high-quality content. It takes up fewer computer resources than Google Docs, making it more efficient.
Frase is my go-to content optimization tool. Actually: It's not - it's much more! Since signing up for the product a couple of months ago (Appsumo LTD), the tool has gone through various growth spurs. I now own a swiss knife that helps me with content planning (content analysis), keyword research (outline builder) as well as writing (A.I. writer). I use all features daily, along with my writers. The UI is solid, and the product is robust. While tools like Market Muse are multi-step slow, Frase feels "instant." The roadmap is very community-driven, with a lively Facebook group.
I can't think of anything. Frase is like a gift that keeps giving.
Content planning, keyword research, writing. I use all features daily, along with my writers.
I am new to creating content and Frase.io is making things way fast and easy. Their SEO Addon is the icing on the cake, especially for the AI Writer Assistant, becoming better and better every day. It's not using GPT-3 but a proprietary algorithm, and this makes it even better for future developments and to avoid GPT-3 "sensitive topics" limitations.
I don't have any complaints as of today. Maybe the only one is that AI Writer is still not ready for non-English languages, but the staff is working hard and I know they will release an update on this in a couple of days. The platform is evolving very fast.
First, I can analyze in a couple of minutes all web pages ranking for a specific keyword in the first 20 positions of the SERP. I can find in a fast way what topics make the rank for that specific query, the content gap I need to fill, the topics and keywords I need to cover on my content in order to increase the chance to rank in that same SERP. The AI Writer helps a lot, giving good ideas on what and how to write, and avoiding white sheet syndrome.
Intuitive UI. Content inventory. Concept map. Easy to write SEO-optimized articles. The AI assistant saves a lot of time. Answer bot helps to identify content gaps and helps site visitors find relevant content. The questions feature helps to address customer questions. The dev and support team is amazing.
I wish it had a topic cluster planning feature.
The tool saves me a ton of research time. Write SEO-optimized content that is helpful for my audience.
As a content creator, 2 things jump right out at me in Frase.io: Firstly, no more Fear Of A Blank Document - whoop whoop! The simple and fast way I can go from literally just ONE keyword phrase eg. "construction supplies" to a whole document outline so fast, is just phenomenal! Invest just 5 mins for "OK, that will do" to 30 mins for "And the winner is...!" The second thing has to be the ease with which I can segment and reshuffle my outlines - even if I've started off with a prewritten piece to begin with (this happen a lot) - and then pass it back up/down the approval chain for approval/comment - without having to juggle account memberships. Yes, that's right: I can share outlines outside the paid user group - which is just incredibly practical all around.
It's hard to fault the software, actually. I guess the onboarding could be a little snazzier, with guided overlays or such. This would help not only first-time writers discover the power at their fingertips faster/more intuitively. However, the video tutorials and webinars are very informative.
I use Frase.io to outline and structure larger blog posts for an information-hungry B2B audience - and need several pairs of eyes on the formative stage of the work too - before we hone the piece prior to publication. The major benefit (other than being able to demonstrate the content is indeed being created for a real audience, not just an idea of what we think an audience might like...) is being able to cross-reference peer information around the topics we are covering, and then deciding on the lifetime of the piece, and/or what follow-up pieces can also be generated in the initial process. This saves us a lot of time (money!) and also guarantees great storytelling for our audience. Win/win, right?
The tool offers efficiency, streamlines the research process, and makes it easier for our Content Writers and SEO Specialists to get content written and optimized for rankings from the very first draft. Support is responsive, and I can foresee this potentially replacing several of our content tools with the introduction of other features.
The only thing I wish was available that is not (yet!) would be the ability to replace another content operations tool by allowing extra users to login/view/edit approve content after it's written in Frase.
The ability to optimize our existing page content to the top 20 search results is so effortless. The research process for content also is streamlined, because Frase helps to break down the great deal of information you would normally have to read through to get the main points from several webpages.
I've been doing SEO for over 15 years now & I'm super happy to have Frase in my toolbox. Content optimization has just become way easier & I can give my clients way better recommendations.
Hard to pin that down, as it really does what it's supposed to.
Content Optimization for my clients
I really like the Outlne Builder & Create Document The outline builder helps with: research to get me started. Type in a Keyword, Pick up some Related Questions & Then I have the making of my outline. It's a great starting point, if you don't know where to start! It's also go for creating talking points for my live streaming show & for my mastermind! Create Document: I use this when I feel like I know where I want to start & I'm ready to go! some times I have gotten stuck and had to use the content breif. It's also really nice to have the Write For Me button too! I make a lot of videos & from those videos I get transcripts, I put a quote of the transcript into frase, hit the write for me button just to see what it would say. It's a prety nice feature!
There's nothing to dislike about Frase. Their Facebook group can be loud at times, but that's Facebook. I have gotten stuck while writing, but that's not Frase's fault. They have many tools to assist with that.
It's a great place to make blog posts from your video content and to find new content to write or talk about for my live shows!
The most helpful aspect of Frase is that it helps create intelligent outlines for content (of any type), along with SEO guidance about what is likely to be most searched for. I also find the tool to be a great way to see what "isn"t" there on the internet already, introducing me to fresh content opportunities. I think the Google Docs plugin is fantastic as well - it fits right in with our team writing tools and practices. The new SEO Add-On is fantastic. I know our organic SEO practice has improved as a result of this tool And the AI writing feature is better than any AI writing tool we've practiced prior. We own several different SEO content development programs, but Frase has become our preferred tool by an order of magnitude. Finally, the Frase team is remarkably responsive and dedicated to its user community. I can't say enough good things about them.
There's nothing I dislike about the tool or the company. Users will find they need to devote time to learning the tool - it's not just a plug-and-play experience. The challenge isn't to use the UX, but to understand the thought process around organic SEO (if you don't already know it), and how to deploy Frase to increase organic SEO performance. Also, the tool development is happening very fast, partly because the Frase team is so community responsive. So you will get the most out of the tool if you are resourceful, willing to watch Frase's Youtube videos and participate in Frase's very active private Facebook group. But if you're willing to invest a few hours in study and exploration, you will find the tool is amazing.
Better integration of SEO/search terms with our content development. Better organized content development. It's also a great idea-generator - which is helpful when you're writing a lot of content. We like the AI writer a lot, though we don't have any intention of letting AI write our content for us. However, the AI writer is a tremendous tool for filling in factual data, creating checklists to expand upon, summaries, etc.
What's not to like! It not only helps you find the topics that will work best for your site but it then pulls in the best results from SERPs on that topic. The separate research and content tabs are amazing, and don't get me started on the new AI writer (not-GPT3). It's great when you give it the right inputs.
The UI is still hard to use (but improving) and for a new person it's a little tough to navigate.
Content research is a pain, with multiple tabs open alongside a Google Doc or Word file. But Frase literally shaves at least 2 hours off a 1500 word article but having all the research in one place. The topic score is next level as well, as I can import content to compete with keywords from the top 20 article on the topic.
Frase is a brilliant tool to help research and write great quality content for websites. It combines several individual tools I use into a single platform.
As an early user there were initially so many updates being rolled out the interface kept changing, but this has settled down now and which new updates are regularly added there is much better communication about the changes.
Frase is helping me write better content faster. I can research blog topics in the software and gain help from the AI writer to speed up content creation.
the content topic recommendations, this makes it easy for me to both edit existing content with additional relevant content but also come up with a well thought out campaign structure which I have my team then produce from.
Nothing really, very early days the UI was not really to my taste, for example your plan is in the first tab and defauls to that I'd rather it defaulted to my main copy, the amount of times I think I've lost data then realise I've not moved into the correct tab!
Content ideas and making the content that my company produce more relevant and beneficial to our clients.
Frase is so user-friendly. The first time I used it, I could intuitively know what to do. When any updates are made, the ease of use does not change. I appreciate that in a business that is growing. When I work in Frase, I have a task to do and limited time to do it. Learning an update is never in my plans; beyond how Frase helps me in my business, the thing I like best is the ease of use.
Nothing. It is my first step to optimization of any content.
I used Frase to optimize articles and recipes for publication. It speeds up my SEO process. I can take any content, run it through Frase adjust the copy to match or exceed the competition on the related topic. So that when I run in through my SEO software to gain further optimization, I am nearly done with the task, and further optimization is a breeze. When I write my own copy, Frase saves me hours of time.
What do you really need in SEO writing - speed of writing, quality of information at the click of a button, top proven content as per the Google algo, ability to quickly rewrite/paraphrase the available information, and finally ability to generate AI content for a heads up into the writing. When you get all of this and much more, the tool is Frase. Want quality article writing or parasite property SEO writing, it takes literally minutes to complete the entire writing. You want more? Here is the most important thing - They listen to you and churn out updates faster than any other tool in the market. So when you listen so acutely, you can't really complain. You never know which updates will take care of your suggestions/complaints! So definitely recommended tool.
As I said, with such active developers and the intention to listen, you can't have one definite complaint. They are so active in releasing updates that people have to sometimes complain about frequent changes in UI!!
They solve one problem - SEO writing and they do it really well.
The process of creating quality articles that appeal to users and to the search engines is an art and a talent. Frase allows me to quickly prioritize what I need to say taking a ton of the guess work out, even on topics I have very little knowledge of. I can either use it myself or hand off an outline to someone else to complete, which lets me take the project and polish it at the end. I can outsource to writers with specific requirements, and produce content quickly, saving tons of time. On top of that, becase there is such a massive time savings, in reality, that time would have never been spent to create such a quality product. Without frase, I would produce less articles, at a much lower quality.
I wish it would integrate directly with Grammarly, and I wish they gave me the option to hide the keyword suggestion column on the right. Don't get me wrong, the keyword suggestion column is awesome, and I use it extensively, but when it's on the screen you are tempted to reference it when you are writing rather than just writing. The results tend to be repetitive and unnatural. I always create my outline in Frase, then type up everything in a doc for speed and to only be concerned with writing in my real voice, then I import it into Frase to do all of my cleanups. I think this is one small area where Frase suffers from being a little too good at what it does.
I need to create a lot of good quality content, I need to know what is currently ranking, and the topics people are interested in, and what types of content are performing the best.
