Fantastic platform for finding leads for sales outreach, a very simple layout makes it easier to identify the best contacts to look for. I am particularly fond of the domain search feature which ensures you get the right contacts within the company you are trying to reach out to.
There is no feature to filter companies by revenue, making it a bit tedious to ensure the companies you are finding are the right size.
Hard to find verified contacts on other platforms but cognism solves this issue
It is a really easy and simple tool to use. I use Cognism multiple times a week to help with my work.

One of the best features about Cognism is that on company view, the employees tend to be in heirarchical order which is extremely helpful. The auto-copy feature also makes prospecting and admin seamless.
While email addresses are often correct, phone numbers are less so. It would be nice if there was a way to verify that the phone numbers are correct as often they are not even for the same company.
Getting primary contact details is a huge part of my job and cognism really makes this a simpler task. It also gives me an insight into company employee structures which is hugeley beneficial to my work.

The platform is easy to use and provides a lot of good data for our sales team. We use it for target account research to get a better understanding (and contact details). Also, the Cognism team is always super friendly and approachable.
I would love to get more data for the DACH market. I appreciate the data we can access but in some cases I wish it would be more.

Cognism has the most up-to-date database. With the built-in Bombora intent data, we have been able to level up our ICP criteria to include intent data. This enables us to prioritise high-intent accounts over others.
I had to export 25 contacts each time if I didn't pay for bulk credit. I want to target accounts by department size, sadly, this is not available in Cognism yet.

The process to flag bad data is not smooth. Although you can mark something as bad on the Sales Nav extension, it is very rare that I user discovers whether the data is good or not, so in the day-to-day workflow it requires a lot of effort from the user to flag it to the Cognism team and wait for the updated results.
Cognism is quite helpful to find direct numbers and valid email addresses. Not only that, but gives you some peace of mind because the data is GDPR compliant. Moreover, it automates a lot of the processes in lead mining and lead import, which makes the workflow so much easier for a BDR/SDR.

Cognism is an easy to use tool that integrates with most of the other tools in our tech stack. I would highly recommend it as you can get the data that you need.
Nothing much to dislike, but like all tools some somethings that can improve such as the left panel could be larger to make more complex searches easier to conduct and see all the variables.
It makes getting data easy, searching and extracting what you want; it has a great LinkedIn integration as well, to use when searching for prospects; overall, it has helped our business streamline the data side of the tech stack.

I can quickly and easily find names and numbers for people I am keen on speaking with.
Sometimes the numbers are out of date so it means i have to find an alternative way to get in touch with the contact
It helps to drastically cut down on the time it takes me to do my lead sourcing, which means i can dedicate more time to getting on the phone and pitching to people
The process flow is very easy. I create lists from saved filters that I can easily export to csv or to my CRM. I like that you can filter on verified emails
Still some emails (about 10%) are incorrect. Also 25 contacts only makes creating lists a bit tedious, but manageable.
Main thing is automation of lists, which saves me so much time. I'm able to export 300 new contacts daily in less than 30 min.
The GC extension is the best part of the tool - it is straightforward to use.
Sometimes the phone numbers are not always accurate but this is to be expected.
