Worksflows are generally easy to set up.

There's no perfect web form, but Nintex always seems to format strangely, building forms can be very frustrating when relatively simple commands don't go through, and too much complexity really slows down performance. Functionality can be limited relative to other products. End users often don't find the forms very intuitive.

Repetitive tasks are made a lot easier.

The designer is simple and can be easy used. all the action box is visible and can be understood easily. It can access the code function of SharePoint

The workflow can't not process complex situation and multi layer work process, such as 4 (persons) x 3 (level) approval process.

Nintex is easy for casual users to get started with.

The use cases for Nintex (where the product is the right tool for the job) is fairly narrow.

We use Nintex primarily for data collection into the SharePoint platform. Nintex has enabled users to easily deploy forms across the organization.

Workflow layout in the designer. Easy to see the entire flow of the workflow.

Having to double click wizards and click next to get to the step you want to edit. Wish there was a quick look to go right to the spot you need to edit. Issues following updates/upgrades to the tool.

SharePoint Approval tasks.

For simple workflows, it does have advantages to build something quickly. Quick tech support, helpful staff.

Things do not work as they should. Poor documentation and help files. Closed system does not allow for customization, too much out of the box components. It a function does not exist in Nintex, we are up the creek, we cannot develop it ourselves.

Approvals. None specific to Nintex.

It is a little easier than Sharepoint designer

Nintex online is different from Nintex premise based versions, so many actions are missing in the workflows and the documentation is not very good in terms of providing examples of usage.

Trying to create workflows for business processes and realized you are tied to restricted version with nintex online. The bridge between the online and premise version should be minimal.

Nintex provided extensive amounts of capabilities allowing greater possibilities of tasks to accomplish.

The program felt as though it was a bit difficult to navigate, I couldn't find the proper documentation I needed.

The ease of use for casual users. Almost any office worker can figure out how to set up a basic Nintex Form or Workflow.

If the data collection or automation task approaches a moderate level of complexity, returns from the Nintex platform begin to diminish in value. The promise of Nintex is that it will save you time, but it takes a lot of time to do anything with Nintex because it's not an easy platform to use. In the end it requires special skill, the skill of having cracked the Nintex code and knowing how to contort ones self to get something done.

Simple forms in responsive mode enable survey like responses to be recorded easily.

Consistently reworking designs and support tickets due to not being a true WYSIWYG. Support has much to be desired - generally support requests are answered next day and not in depth. Responsive forms are near powerless and very limited for design.

Automation is the key for our business use of Nintex and this is what I like most, however it is not an easy solution to implement and can be very complicated and cumbersome and some key features you would expect are not included or lacking. We have realized benefits with automated processes.

There is nothing wonderful about ONLINE or to like. It's over complicated and many of the great ONPREM actions are gone. Half the new actions have more bugs in them. Many of the useful features from OnPres, such as Email Action FROM have disappeared leaving us without an option..

Bugs and issues now being resolved yet "new" features being rolled out. Get the basics working first before pushing out new features. The Online help is next to useless- There is not point restating the name of the field as the type.....you need real examples!

It is now taking us more time and money in developing new Forms and Workflows ONLINE. If I had a choice, I would return to ONPREM. Our users are complaining because of the slowness in loading forms and the isses we have with EMAIL Actions. (formatting)

Support is awful. Email back and forth with another country for a week. Two phones message left and no response.

None because it does not work

Our small internal IT team no longer had to manage app development in our SharePoint environment as this was shifted to centralized teams.

There was little support at the user level as we rolled out K2 Appit.

Our team had already built automated Sharepoint workflows for communication and inventory management that we migrated into K2 Appit.
