I think ConvertKit is perfect for someone like myself who is a busy entrepreneur and blogger. It doesn't have advanced features like other robust email platforms, but I don't need them. My main focus for using ConvertKit is to segment my lists (which can be done through tags) and create easy, automated sequences for subscribers. I like that I have one main list that I can break down based on products or even my different website categories. It is easy to set up, but it did take a little bit of time to nail down my forms and sequences. I no longer needed a separate landing page software since ConvertKit can also create landing pages.
It can sometimes be a little buggy, but everything seems to be easy to figure out. Their help desk will fix it quickly.
It solves the problem of trying to segment content out to my list tailored to their interests. I don't want to send someone interested in one topic emails about another, so I am able to easily do this in ConvertKit.
I liked the option of having a landing page, user subscription management and a decent delivery rate in one place. The option of having a paid newsletter exactly matched my requirements. I found their delivery rate is better in comparison to other tools.
Reporting is something that can be improved for sure. I use geo-tagging and bounce rates to optimise and improve my newsletters. It's missing in the Convertkit. It also gets pricey after a certain user base if you compare from other tools.
I wanted to create an email newsletter that can be managed easily while providing good open rates. I got to know about Convertkit from influencers in the Digital Marketing community. I find it useful in managing the landing page/email form and scheduling sequence-based emails. I've increased my open rate by more than 30%.
ConvertKit is very easy to use and also very well documented, with helpful tutorial videos. Compared to Aweber, which I switched from, it is very intuitive, and email deliverability seems better too. Setting up funnels is easy and logical.
The pricing tiers can seem a little unfair. For example, I currently have just over 5000 subscribers, which pushes me onto the 8000+ pricing tier. It's a shame there's not another tier in the middle.
Maintaining ongoing contact with readers of my blog, and also segmenting customers by their interests, which is really easy to do using the tagging features of ConvertKit.
One of the most things i like about Convertkit is. they provide too many features for absolutely free. so normal users or beginner users are able to use this service without spending much money like other email marketing tools charge,
Lots of things are very impressive on Convertkit , but also some things I notice which are not good or I can say need to improve. like there drag and drop email template builder is not much smooth. Yea we can use this and able to make a good template. But for smoothness and performance need to improve there. Rest is all good
Convertkit solves lots of small business and website owners' problems. Like if I need some advanced features but are very limited then for that we need to spend some money on other tools but Convertkit provides this thing absolutely free.
I love this email marketing tool. By using it, you can design and create beautiful emails for your business. Very easy to use and one of the best email marketing tool.
Convertkit is best but some of the things are not good in this tool. In the free plan, you have to create emails manually. So basically not recommended for beginners.
You can automate your emails by using convertkit. It helps you alot to grow your business online. The interface of this email marketing tool is awesome. Best tool for email marketer.
The UI is simple, and there is absolutely no noise. It has very minimal and necessary features that solve the problem. It has an excellent delivery rate and goes past most email filters.
Sometimes there is a delay in the delivery time of the email campaigns. Some campaigns don't work as scheduled, and they fail to activate. Landing pages can be better with more features.
I used Convertkit for sending out newsletters and other bulk emails. I have used to promote my webinars and courses. I send out weekly newsletters to the people in my startup community.
ConvertKit one of the best and popular email marketing platform. I mostly love their campaign customisation features, including integration with WordPress, Paypal and other platforms. I have been used MailChimp but, ConvertKit way more feature rich and easy to use.
ConvertKit is great but, if you are beginner and picking the free plan then you will not get the automation features. So you have to do or send email manually. Other than it is great according to pricing.
Email marketing is not an easy task, on my site we have monthly 30000+ page views, so we decided to convert most of visitors to our customes. So we tried to capture them using MailChimp, but their paid plans was bit expensive and customisation bit harsh for me. So I decided to switch ConvertKit and they have everything, from form implementation to dedicated pages and even paywall features.
I like that there aren't a ton of bells and whistles. Plus, it's free if you're just starting.
I don't like that we aren't notified when we get a new subscriber.
We are distributing our new blog content via Convertkit's email broadcast feature.
Easy to start, Grow your subscription base for free with free landing pages and pop-up forms. Tag users based on their behavior.
There is no automation with free tool and the price goes much higher when your subscriber base grew up.
Easily broadcast important emails and free way to connect with my subscribers.
I like the segmentation and automations that you can add.
It's a little pricey in fairly short order.
We have an automated webinar sequence where new people to join our Facebook group get exposed to a few of our products over the span of a few weeks before being added to our normal mailing list.
This tool has been very special within our marketing system because it has allowed us to carry out advertising campaigns in a much broader way, the service allowed to send mass emails with advertising campaigns in order to attract new traffic and offer our clients regular special offers, we are happy because it has been an efficient tool because we can use in a simple and intuitive way, all the tools are explained so that the activation of the service makes it faster.
I like the tool very well explained and it works optimally, it seems to me that the advertising system, however in some aspects the emails get lost which is not seen by the clients because they are lost in the spam folder it is necessary to look for one solution to this problem so that we achieve broader objectives and find the solution. Although the tools work and give results, offering 100% would be a success in the future.
Personally, I believe that the system has been a great advance, we have managed to carry out a much more attractive complete detailed digital marketing without any inconvenience, we have received a positive response from customers and a large traffic on our website in turn We have been able to monitor those emails that are not reviewed because they are lost in the spam folder and looking for some type of solution, whether to send more advertising and attract other customers, which we are happy because the system is quite clear and offers the opportunity to return To send these campaigns we have not had any kind of inconvenience regarding the tools are very advanced and allow us to improve the company.
Convertkit is much more than an email sending with a massive campaign, I love it because it supports different types of designs and so we have no problems in sending us emails, it also allows us to expand our client so that we are happy in the function it offers us, its The interface is much simpler than other email systems such as, for example, Zoho Campaign is much simpler, intuitive and faster, an important point on which I rely on the system is that I like customer comments with this we rely on to improve and we can observe the entrance and the amount of clients.
No point against the operation of this system, it seems to me that you can add more designs, templates, colors, texts to be able to edit the campaigns directly in your system at this time the system is very poor, so it is not interactive to be able to edit it directly in the system that they offer us, although it does not deteriorate the system in the future, it can provide more solutions.
Now it is much easier to send our users various campaigns because it is a complete CRM and marketing software, the recent increase has already been allowed and it has been noticeable, in addition to the fact that we can observe the increase in people or how many clients have been able to enter our website, The analysis interface is functional and pleasant, allowing you to grow with potential clients.
This platform allows us to maintain a fluidity of work through email marketing. You get great performance and satisfactory productivity, you can use its automation to save time, in addition to creating a customer funnel, it is easy to use, powerful and functional, the cost is more affordable compared to other software, also the system is dockable with employees so it is easier to adapt to their tools very complete and I like it.
We have obtained good results with this platform and we have not had problems, although if it presents some errors and its learning curve may be a bit high, the rest it seems to me a good choice at a low cost. The system must be more fluid for the automation and services of the tools.
We used this platform as it is more robust and solid, at first we used mailchimp but our list grew quickly and did not meet our needs. We carry out an automated segmentation to our list, we can send an email to our potential clients, each subscriber is tagged in a link function that when clicked, a purchase they made, forms and much more. In general, it is complete, it fully supplies the needs.
I like how when I was sending emails out with convertkit, I got a 23% open rate. That may sound low, but I read the average is about 10% now! I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now and have found it to be a good solution for email marketing.
They don't allow you to import a large list, which sucks because it stopped us from testing convertkit with most of our customers. However, with the small sample we were allowed to import, it performed well.
I'm able to send emails automated instead of writing individual emails which allows marketing at scale.
My favorite part of using Convertkit is the tagging system. Convertkit is an overall reliable and affordable autoresponder. I do not consider myself a technically inclined person, but it found my way around this application fairly quickly.
I have had a handful of “glitchy” incidences (i.e.: broadcast did not send immediately, link not working properly in email, etc.) that we’re frustrating. Customer support has always been speedy and helpful though.
Convertkit is my primary autoresponder for my info. product based business. It integrates well with WordPress, and I use it often to create and deliver lead magnets, among other things. It’s an affordable way for me to keep in touch with my growing subscriber list, and it helps me to organize subscribers based on purchases through the tagging system.
I love the ability to embed automations on client websites. It is nice to create an opt-in callout box on the site and Convertkit automatically follows up with an email chain.
I often find formatting does not carry over when I duplicate emails. The text often reverts to be smaller or takes on a different style.
As I mentioned before, we are using Convertkit to embed email automation chains on websites. My team and I have realized this is beneficial for gathering new email addresses and following up.
The broadcast and tag combination makes it easy to manage subscribers. I also enjoy the ability to tag and group subscribers into distinct groups, whether that's organizing by subscriber date or by email or by name, etc. This organization lets me email out to smaller sample groups instead of emailing the whole subscriber base and risking many unsubscriptions.
Too many features gets confusing, there are many layers to the software (which isn't bad, it just makes it moderately hard to figure the whole software).
Outreach, subscriber organization, and emailing lists. We're able to tag subscribers easily and efficiently
Tags! The ability to add tags to users, to create autosequences, and ability to easily embed forms and ability to segment emails.
Lots of emails don't make it to the user's inbox and that was one of the top claims that Convertkit used to have -- deliverability.
Email marketing. Being able to communicate with our community.
I love that I can sendan email to a small list of subscribers who are interested in a certain type of information. This prevents me from sending the email to people who are not interested thus avoiding spam complaints or unsubscribing.
I don't like that there is no drag and drop functionality, because it makes it somewhat difficult for a person without technical skills to adapt to the system.
I can get up top of my email marketing needs with Convertkit thanks to their very useful analytics. The statistics provided by them has helped me make excellent business decisions. I can see at a glance if we are experience a dip in our email list, and make changes to increase my list. I can determine where my new subscribers are coming from and they use targeted list-building. Converkit allows me to see the conversion rate (or how many visitors became subscribers for each list-building optin offer I create.
What I love most is that a subscriber can be given different tags based on links they've clicked, forms they've filled out, etc. And then those tags are available for segmentation. They just unveiled a new visual automation tool. It's pretty powerful and it really helps visualize the paths customers are taking through our email sequences.
I dislike that some simple things are missing from their offerings. For example, it's impossible to add a few radio buttons to an email signup form and have those trigger some tags. If you're coming from MailChimp, you may notice a few things that seemed super easy on MailChimp that are just missing on ConvertKit. But other than that, it really is a pretty decent platform.
We're sending our email marketing through ConvertKit. We've seen it help us organize our subscriber list, gain new subscribers, and communicate with them (mostly) easily and quickly.
