It was easy to use. It had many internal options like attaching a candidate to a job, send them e-mails, put in place automatic e-mails, track the steps in the recruitment process. Also, it could be used by many team members at the same time (if they have access). We had many own created templates in place, which helped to send messages faster and with fewer mistakes.
Avature ATS had got too many side-features added to it, the system got very slow forcing us to refresh the page often to have it fully loaded. For many of these side-features, we got no guidelines provided nor notification that an X feature has got added, so we had useless things making our daily work harder due to the system global speed.
I was using Avature for contacting, scheduling the different interviews (phone, Skype, face to face and assessment centers) and tracking candidates' steps in the hiring process. It made it easy to track the candidates' steps, send them messages and schedule interviews thanks to the very specific steps and pop-ups to complete for automated emails.
The lists tool lets you create anything from task oriented actionable reports, to complex criteria for improved automation within the workflow. I hands down has to be one of the best features of Avature. We use this to create complex rules on restriction workflow progression as well as sending mailers etc.
A white label variant. Being able to create more customer branded outputs within the business instead of relying on Avature development.
Definitely reducing time to deliver with improved data capture. The automation options available in the work flow have allowed us to remove a lot of manual tasks from the recruiters. The time savings here as well as bulk actions available from lists have improved our overall time to hire. The verification and checks also set up at key points in the process have led to greatly improved data capture. In turn, we have been able to provide fantastic insight to our clients on the process carried out on their accounts. as well as generating wealth of data to inform our future business decisions. Without Avature's flexibility in workflow configuration, the quality of that data would be highly diminish. This also lends itself to recruiter performance tracking. Driving all our work through the Avature has also allowed us to improve recruiter performance. Gathering feedback from clients and candidates at key stages of the process automatically has provided perceived performance metrics that compliment recruiter stats on conversion rates at key stages for example. This has fed back into our recruiters development fantastically
Its user friendly. It took me very less time to learn this software
it could have more features related to candidate's timeline and could add notification settings
keeping candidate records and project records
Avature is very easy to use and has a lot of different functions.
There are a few steps that are unnecessary but I think that is how our company has it set up.
We are using Avature as our ATS.
The workflow steps are easy to utilize and track candidate progress.
The boolean or ability to search is limited. Would like to see the capabilities enhanced to search the ATS like a database.
Tracking and dispositioning candidates has been very easy with Avature.
I like that you can pull candidate profiles directly from LinkedIn. they go straight into the requisition that you are recruiting for. Also, You can upload multiple candidates into the system by using a few features. My personal favorite is the email/dropbox feature. You can designate which req, category, and any other classifications for multiple profiles.
It has a huge learning curve and the platform is not very intuitive. A lot of my coworkers struggled with it at first. You also have to make sure you're trained on including all necessary data, or the reporting function will state that you have made no progress. For example, you can mark a candidate as phone screened, but if you do not log the phone call itself in the outreach column it will not show on the report.

I like using Avature when it comes to reporting
Avature is not friendly user, there's a lot button interface
Detailed reporting, Avature had correct detials
The customizable nature of the solution is excellent for teams that need heavy segmentation and complex data models. Workflows are powerful and the features added to work with portals are impressive. Overall it's a great software for anyone looking to capture and leverage a large amount of data. The ability to communicate effectively outside the platform via forms, landing pages, and portals is a true selling point.
There often seem to be inconsistencies within the product itself. Developmental sloppiness is a problem across the entire platform. I would expect this of a true start-up, but not of one that often references its 15+ years of experience. It seems to have been lost that you can develop quickly and in an agile way and still develop with integrity. I am constantly finding incongruities and running into problems, which is remarkable. Yet, the Technical Support team at Avature are so infuriatingly challenging to work with that it's not worth it most of the time to bring it up. I say TS, but in reality, it's clear that this is an internal problem across teams. The lack of communication between your various groups shines through in how easily tickets get lost, are ignored, or take far too long to fix (how long does it take to change the value in a config, really? Weeks? Is that being justified internally somehow?). The operations team has failed tremendously in its cross-team organization. It's understood that lower-tier clients will receive less attention, but that should not equate to me spending my time correcting and directing your teams when work needs to be completed or bugs need to be fixed. Don't even get me started on how Avature will try to charge you for work that needs to be done because of THEIR poor development. It's ridiculous. The issues above and the "AI" solutions being marketed are the biggest reasons I would not recommend using Avature. When I do, it's with significant caveats.
We manage essentially all internal operations related to customer interactions and projects in Avature (think a combined AM, TS, Deployment situation).
Avature has some very strong modules. As an example, one can move a candidate from one req to another fairly easily. The underlying base of Avature is solid...candidate movement within a requisition is solid as well, one of the few intuitive functionalities that exist in the system.
How large are the G2 servers? Because the list is exhaustive. 1. While the report-writer attempts to be user-friendly, the learning curve is fairly steep. The function is not intuitive. 2. I've worked with Avature on and off since 2005 or so. NOT ONE of the versions has been intuitive. In some of the versions, the UX/UI was more like the make-up job on Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo in "To Wong Foo With Love...."--basically covering up the "green-screen" underpinnings. Later iterations were better, to be sure, however, the continued kludgy linking to MS Office Suite products continued. 3. Trying to search from within Avature--I finally gave up. Somehow, to use another movie reference, my seach string got "Lost In Translation" and the results just were off.
At the time I trialed it for Spherion, and later when I used it at other RPOs, Avature was what was the best thing after sliced bread. Now...not so much. Early on the benefits were...well...it was the only game in town for smaller and for RPOs. As the market for ATS/CRMs grew, Avature became third tier.
I like almost nothing about Avature. Only plus is that you can see all the reqs assigned to you in one place.
The UI make no sense, there is an overwhelming amount of information on each page, and no obvious structure or hierarchy of information. It takes me 20 minutes to find a candidate's resume each time.
We use Avature as our applicant tracking system but it's not benefiting me at all
I love that Avature is so customizable. The basics are there for you, but you have the freedom to make it whatever you need it to be.
I'd love it even move if I was able to edit and customize all of the pieces myself instead of going through my account manager for some of it.
Avature is helping us to automate large portions of our recruiting process so that we can focus our time where it truly needs to be.
Flexible solution that can be leveraged to address unique business processes, challenges and/or ideas.
N/A - not something we dislike; however, it would be nice to have some additional thought leadership on best practices from the consulting/implementation team.
They are continuously developing their product and listening to customers to understand what they (we) need.
Avature is one of the most user-friendly platforms I have used in my 20 + years of professional experience in a corporate setting, love that is so customizable
There are so many layers to the instance from an admin perspective it can be daunting sometimes
Avature is growing and that growth helps their clients build sopshistated instances. They are covering more and more ground in talent managerment technologies.
I love the flexibility of Avature's platform and how configurable it is to meet the needs of our business.
I do not have any major dislikes related to the Avature platform.
Avature will soon allow us to have reliable data and analytics across multiple platforms, including our contact management system, applicant tracking system, and onboarding, allowing us to best tell our story.
The ability to filter lists and customize reports is my favorite part about Avature. The ability to also use it internally with employees is a big bonus.
Some requests can seem to take a while but are typically resolved quickly.
Avature is making it so we need less man power to produce more results!
With the implementation of Avature we achieved the using of one global recruitment system. That means that not only all the global HR colleagues work together on one platform but also our internal and external applicants as well as our Hiring Managers all over the world use one system. With that, we follow one common approach and with that we are also able to challenge, to discuss and to be able to handle the future HR Challenges - together. And with the Support of Avature as a system and as a partner, we can connect with other companies and can profit from the knowledge and the input from many different people.
Sometimes with regards to new projects like implmenting an interface to another system it would be great to have a consultant fixed more faster. I would like to see improvements in having a poc for special projects.
For our company the most helpful thing about Avature in the first row was that we could implement one common approach with regards to recruit internal and external candidates. We use one platform and are able to adapt changes quit fast. The other thing about Avature which we like is that we can automate processes, save time for other things and also giving the best user experience to our applicants, our hiring managers and our recruiters.
Avature has been built to meet our company's needs. It is very easy for end users, and even easier to support inhouse with the system admin role.
I don't dislike anything. Constant enhancements with endless opportunities, what's not to like!
Zoom integration - this will allow us to schedule interviews with ease.
Customized workflows make the use cases work well for our company.
There aren't any downsides to using Avature that I'm aware of from a CRM perspective
Organizing and streamlining Sourcing efforts as well as helping us pivot for large scale intiaitves
Avature's User Interface (UI) is very clean and well laid out. It allows the user to see all aspects of the registrants as they move through the work flows in a very clean and simple manner.
The inabliity to download data without restrictions. Hopefully the development of an integration solution will solve those issues and allow for greater opportunity to expand our data analytics.
Developing new dashboards and custom reporting solutions that allow our teams to have better control and visibility into their marketing and sourcing activities.
Avature is the best ATS tool and it is also known as an applications tracking system. By using this tool, we use it to create new records for our company's database purposes and job creations as well.
I didn't have any dislikes. It's a pretty easy tool. Everyone can easily understand the process and its friendly users as well, so it's helpful to our business growth.
It will create a company database to store the candidates and a job database, and it is helpful to send mass mails to the candidates, and if candidates get the offer, we will use scheduled onboarding by using Avature.
