The expenses are directly charged to the corporate expense account, eliminating requirements to submit a claim, waiting for reimbursement, etc. App allows upload of receipts for validation
Certain claims are not covered. I am not sure if it is corporate policy or Ramp itself which has limitations (telecom expenses for example)
Travel expense submission via Ramp is much helpful since there is always a risk that my reimbursement may arrive after credit card pay cycle.
Allows finance teams in startups and small business to easily manage credit card allocation for employees, manage expenses, integrates with accounting software, tracks recipts, and gives generous cashback terms. It also does not charge interest as it is a cash card. Also new features are being added constantly like making sure that you don't have duplicate subscriptions to tools.
None so far! Only minor issue that I had initially but it was not their fault was that we wanted to personalize our cards but the creditcard provider made a mistake and included the branding for another company on our card.
Not having to deal with a major bank, generous cashback, digitizing expense management. getting credit cards to employees is one click away vs traditional banking where you have to fill out a 10-page application.
The interface is extremely easy to use for both end-users and administrators. It is extremely clean, logical, and modern. It is a one-stop shop for invoices, company cards, and reimbursements.
The reporting capabilities leave a lot to be desired. It is possible to get the information you want, but it could be much easier. What is the most frustrating is that Ramp clearly has all the pieces to build out an impactful reporting function but right now the current solution is very difficult to build reports out of.
We had a fragmented process before for paying expenses. Invoices went to one location, credit cards were stored in another, and reimbursements were processed in yet another separate flow. Ramp enables the Finance team to have a holistic view of all of our spend and have a single control center to manage our finances.
I've used a few software in this area, love how with Ramp I can simply get a card to use for expenses instead of having to submit expenses and wait for them to be reviewed and reimbursed
I dont really have any dislikes here. One thing to be mindful of is when youre company leaves ramp your billing still goes to that card and you may be held liable for those missed payments
Quick and easy expenses for employees
While user-friendly, this software is robust and accurate enough to produce all the finance data we need for our business. We enjoy the two percent cash back and the dashboard, which lets us review our quarterly spending in each department. The integration with Sage Intacct was speedy and trouble-free. We were able to implement this in merely a day!
Having the capability to use Ramp as a standalone expense reimbursement tool would be great. Currently, there is no single-person reimbursement feature.
Our particular card programs let our employees pay for a specific amount only and not add anything else - this minimizes our risk and ensures straightforward payment processes. We usually get a better cashback rate than the expired card and have no risk of expense reimbursements now.
The SMS reminders to add notes and receipts make it seamless to handle expense reports. Email forwarding of receipts is another great option.
From the employee side of things, Ramp is fairly friendly. Sometimes things take a few tries to save, but very solid overall.
Expense reporting, employee credit cards.
One of the best expense management product. One can get the saving insights based on the spendings. It is very easy to use.
It doesn't have automatic connectivity to the banks. One has to upload the statement monthly. Certain amount of payment per month is allowed.
Cash back savings are very important to small businesses so it is very useful in that. It is saving our company's money. It frees up the managers from approving each purchase since the rules in each card program have already been determined and agreed upon.
A simple tool that aggregates some disparate finance areas and allows for the consolidation of various other tools into one more simplified platform. Great for smaller businesses looking to utilize a more complete finance tool set for more advanced financial needs.
Lacking some integration...export and import is about all you really get.
Helps with elimination of multiple applications and the costs associated with that. Also allows data sharing amongst common applications where needed,b ut still have to export/import.
