Setting up our cap table with Pulley was super easy, as their interface is really intuitive and not as complicated as I've seen with other platforms. Their team was really helpful in ensuring that stakeholders were added correctly, and that I didn't enter in data incorrectly. It is also really helpful to run through fundraising scenarios, to see how our cap table would change if we adjusted round size and terms. We're still pre-seed, but I imagine this will be really helpful moving forward, both for me and our investors to view investment details.

So far, I haven't encountered any issues with our Pulley cap table, but appreciate that I can reach out to their team if any problems arise.

I've been able to view all investors and their terms in one place, and view projections for future funding, as well as provide our investors with transparency as our funding grows.

Super helpful support staff answers questions immediately everytime and always fixes the problem

I've only interacted with the product a half dozen times or so and the dashboard or feature I tried to use didn't work 3 of the times I've used it. It is still feels very early in development and is not as stable as I'd like given the price point equivalent to more stable competitors with the same offerings.

It is a functional cap table managment software

I love their onboarding process - quick & seamless. They take the time to ensure you’ve got everything set up. The site is easy to navigate.

It would be nice if they had online tutorial videos walking you through how to do things.

Able to support us at each round of fundraising. They helped us with our 409a valuation. The ability to track my dilution as our company grows. Anytime I have a question the support team is very responsive.

Weirdly didn't get notifications when people signed which would have been very very helpful!

It's super simple, easy to add users with custom access control, and exactly the kind of pro-forma exports my investors ask for.

I cannot export a model in the same format as my usual cap table. Pulley has some modeling tools, but they're limited in functionality.

There isn't much to dislike. The onboarding can be daunting to do on one's own, but the team stepped up and took care of the whole process for us.

Received amazing support throughout 409a, including lengthy explanations to help understand the process and quick responses. Great features for modeling equity and issuing grants.

There was some emailing back and forth with third-party connections to get the 409a process done, which got a little complicated, but we did receive support throughout that engagement.

We solved our need for support in getting a 409a done, and for making it quick and easy to get equity issued and modeled. It was easy for our lawyers to get involved too and have transparency into our equity processes when we needed support.

Pulley is very intuitive. When I need help, I get an almost immediate response.

Our custom stock certificates can't be issued through Pulley.

Bugs that crop up fairly regularly. Also --> not the most self explanatory. Couldn't figure out how to use Pulley and make the right updates without Pedro's help

Manage our equity and options. Helps get all that in place, so don't need to rely on manual effort, or effort via lawyers.

I like that I can model my future fundraise and know exactly what my team and my personal equity will be as a founder. Having certainty in what our equity positions are currently also after any fundraise—no matter the terms—is a major value add.

I don't like the pricing model. It needs to be framed better for smaller companies who raised capital from angels (i.e. lots of small checks) and paying ~$5 PER INVESTOR(/stakeholder) PER MONTH is honestly a lot for the service that is offered. I don't a fair amount of the functionality has been helpful or useful for a smaller startup, and it seems like they are basically able to soak up a lot of VC dollars by getting "50% of YC batches" to use their product, vs building and targeting smaller startups.

Mostly cap table management. Calculating ESOP amounts and requirements for our board is usually fairly difficult and Pulley definitely makes this easy. We have also really liked that we can keep ALL of our equity/options agreements in a single place and to be able to offer equity with certainty to not only our founding team, future hires, but also to our advisors has been a massive value-add.

Glitchy: downloading the cap table usually is missing founder shares, the SAFE document scanner usually pulls up the wrong values and/or misses terms,
