I first got into automation using forms and email automaton. Now I am an avid no code builder enthusiast and like to use bots for fun and for work. What I liked best was the ingenuity or the builder and the massive array of complex (and hilarious results from some) processes available under the seemingly relatively simple hub. If you can drag drop and got a decent eye for patterns and connection you will slip right into this. The experience is one of luxury which reflects in the price. How many of your tools do you use to relax and have fun? I do with landbot. And that really is enough to warrant it. Simple yet vastly complex. Highly customizable and you can be as basic as you want or you can build an amazing text adventure game within the builders framework. Tons of functionality and intuitive design. A bot lover could not ask for more.
The price is on the high end if it's not something you really need it's probably not for you unless you like to exlore cutting edge b2b technology. I have tested many bot builders and have always held landbot as in a league of its own despite very capable competition. I find it hard to complain about much else but the price for admission. It's steep and might keep many annovative startups away. For me the value I get out matches our outshines the cost. Except for the fact that you do not get access to webhooks or API if you are not on the most expensive plan which is quite expensive, I misread that and asked for a refund but was denied due to it being a few days after the 7 day return window. They did offer me a decent deal but that would mean I would still have to upgrade for a year and add almost 500 EUR to the end bill when I already paid about 200 EUR. Only to get access to webhooks and to remove their branding. I used to think landbot was king but right now their plans and functionality needed to use it properly as a business is hidden behind the most expensive plan, the tier 2 plan is not cheap at all but full of restrictions that make me feel like they are constantly trying to upsell me and rubbing in my eyes what I am missing. The tool in itself is amazing. I got an amazon card for writing a review. They offered $25 USD but sent me 25kr in Swedish kronor which is avout 3 dollars. When I pointed it out all they said was 'oops, our bad we can't do anything about it. EDIT; They fixed this now so that is a big plus for them. Keeping an eye out for customers who need help or feel treated badly. Big shoutout to the landbot team for reaching out.
Wow. Where to begin.. Stress. I don't stress building and setting up bots. I have fun. Major selling point. Support. A well set up not can take care of a big chunk of support requests and provide a unique experience for the client. Make those bots personal and see the difference It just works. Landbot is very intuitive to use and learn and this makes people catch on fast. In the end on boarding is a breeze and you can see people giggle and play with the options just for fun. A tool for a wide audience that still caters to enthusiasts and professionals.
* Easy to build the first bot and get going very quickly. No coding skills required to have a fully functional bot - so marketing can do this 100% on its own without a developer. * We trialed a few bots and chose LandBot because the interface was easier to use, and pricing was hands-down better. The interface is super-easy to use once you get the hang of it. * Support is SUPERB so any questions you have, they are there quite quickly. * Non-profit needs to qualify people for gov't financed services, LandBot makes this easy. More people will interact with the bot than a web form. * Compared to others Eg. Drift (super expensive) the price is right. For one user it is E30, for 2 users it is E40, yet for what we needed from Drift, that was about $500. So this is good for smaller and nimbler marketing teams. * Easy to customize the design for the brand's look-and-feel. We even have color-coded bots, and use the brand mark as the "bot" avatar.
* Not easy to integrate with Google Tag Manager (that feature is coming). I would recommend making this part of the knowledge base more clear. I needed a lot of help here and it was a bit confusing until I figured out it could not be done with the version I was using. * Not easy to add event tracking with FB pixel, nor where to add it, I needed help here. * There is easy to read straight forward reporting. But if you want something specific, it is not easy to create reports, sort of stuck with their "basic" reporting or need to sort through a massive Excel spreadsheet export, so add 30 minutes to your day. * LandBot works well as a pop-up on any WordPress website. When we wanted to install it as a stand-alone page on the website, we needed the website developer to upload the code via FTP, we could not do this in WordPress, this needs to be done. Not a "dislike" but letting you know.
Inquiry volume increased, and the resulting inquiries were a much better fit for the organization; people who would not be qualified for the non-profit service were provided with appropriate resources through the bot.
the easy use and the way things work in the dashboard
that FREE and STARTER plan --- that cost 30 euro! are with ads. i wasted a lot of time trying to create a bot and experiencing it, but could not use and even fully review the flow completely without an ad jumping IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BOT and offering landbot to the bot user!!! this is unacceptable ! a waste of time and NOT LESS THEN A contempt your costumer to be. if you write a starter \ free plan - let us experience the product! not let us use it TOO MUCH TO BACK UP
nothing at all !! i couldn't use the product first plan - 30 euros - because the representative in the live chat- told me it has ads. IN THE CHATBOT ITSELF! and that ads are not showing only on the 100 euro plan and above... i need a small plan - does that mean i will advertise you and pay for that ?! I'm not paying to advertise your product !!! learn form other products and have A REAL FREE PLAN or at least LET US KNOW from the start what CAN and CANNOT use in each and every pack.. and not- let the costumers discover by themselves, I was one second away from buying the 30 euro pack and decided to ask the live chat to make sure the ads are off if I pay you 30 euros a month !!
I loved the feature whereby when a person comes back to your bot, they are able to resume the flow. It's also easy to use with no complicated features. I love the free option which i use frequently. Am a student on campus with absolutely no coding skills , but i have found it easy to use landbot. The user interface is also good. I am always attracted by graphics and landbot pretty does that. It has also helped me get the job done...
Pricing is a bit high but i was able to negotiate a discount. I always feel that the message interface (chats) is a bit crowded. I also find it hard to use variables.
I was trying to make interviews fast and easy and enjoyable.... It's fast, its enjoyable and people find it more exciting than traditional forms.
It has been around 2 years, I like their customer support and rich features. The interface and process of creating a bot is as simple as drag and drop. They would have to just optimize for speed so the visitors of our bot do not think the page speed is low.
I would like to see an even easier way to be calculator based bots for leads, games or pricing calculator. They already have great integrations but I would want to see direct integrations with various tools without Zapier. I would like to seem more templates as well. I would like to see WhatsApp integrations to be available at an economical price so we can try it for our communities and businesses.
Savings in customer support costs, being responsive to potential clients and lead generation. Landbot is also helping me in hiring too, making the process easy and automated by filtering the candidates.
I like having multiple channels at my disposal when building and deploying bots. The interface is pretty clear, and the widgets for embedding the bot are not too heavy resource-wise.
I'd like to be able to test my bots from other parts of the flows, not from start each and every time. The first (starting) step is also something I miss the flexibility with, ie. I'd like to have different conditions as a first step to the bot, not a Welcome message all the time. The price is extremely high if you want to use webhooks and other a bit more sophisticated functionalities, and I find it extremely hard to defend the price when trying to sell the bots to my clients. I honestly think if they lowered the price they would benefit a lot with new businesses adopting the service. Lack of additional agents by default is also something I would like to change, as well as not being able to easily develop the bot on my test account and making a template out of it so I can transfer it to another owner in the future.
I mostly use landbot for lead gen and support. The UX of the final bot is well executed and users are following the conversations easily.
I received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all demographics on how the survey I made was fun to take and made them happy to share it. Our full completion rate was nearly 70% which far exceeded my expectations.
I disliked the tiering of premium features. I believe an average flat price or a pay per feature model would have been more agreeable for me.
Customer discovery and behavioral analysis. I was able to validate assumptions for my startup that gave us confidence to move forward and prioritize features based on user feedback.
What I appreciate most is the very efficient and professional approach of the customer service. The community to discuss problems with is also a huge plus.
The price of the product is high, compared to the competition. However, quality costs money
I am using landbot as a research platform
