Dashlane Business provides me and my entire team with the ability to share and save both personal and client passwords so that we do not need to maintain manual spreadsheets with hundreds of clients login information. If a team member leaves, I can simply remove their access and not worry about security issues.
The only issue I have is with some websites passwords not recognizing the specific website I am on. For example Quickbooks online does not always recognize the password I have saved.
Sharing and saving passwords across a team of approximately 5 fulltime employees. Every new employee receives a password account on day 1 when they start with our firm.
Password overload was in full force prior to Dashlane. I had a huge hesitation in spending this money for a small business such as mine. Don't hesitate! Don't waste another day stressing on remembering passwords, selecting passwords, finding passwords... Dashlane fixed all of that!
It doesn't work as well as I'd hoped with my phone, but I am sure it's works as well as it can considering the phone design of their software. Hopefully in the future it will continue to improve.
Password overload.. creating passwords.. Dashlane solved all those issues.
Dashland has helped me secure all my business assets in a way that allows ease of access and peace of mind, I have tried many other password managers, but Dashlane has gone above and beyond what I imagined and I would recommend to anyone!
No downsides so far, being able to have multiple members on the accounts makes recovery simple, easy and stress free, other password managers will lock you out and have no recourse available.
Maintaining high security within my business across all aspects from banking to social media, it allows me to change passwords easily and access payment methods when needed.
Loving Dashlane! Super user-friendly, auto-fills my passwords, and the auto-lock feature adds an extra layer of security. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately, Dashlane is missing the ability to group passwords, which would make it even easier to organize all my information.
Dashlane is a lifesaver for anyone with lots of passwords to remember! It's super user-friendly and automatically fills in my passwords, making it easy to access my accounts.
I like that it is user-friendly yet can also be as highly integrated as you would like. As a business admin, it's nice to be able to look at the passwords that are potential security risks or reuse. Plus, they have extensions that work with your browser so all you passwords are still highly secured, not saving to google, and all on dashlane as you create new ones.
I would like to have a bit more control on how many times another user can use same password or at least have them not be able to use the same one for multiple.
Securely sharing passwords across our organization is really helpful compared to text or handwritten note, like we used to before. We also have most of our team remote, so it's easy to see what passwords we share and which they don't have access too.
It keeps innovating all the time and has never been violated or had any data exfiltration.
I didn't like that they removed the windows desktop app; however, if they keep it on Mac OS X
Key password management
Dashlane is a very powerful application for securely saving passwords. I use Dashlane Business to save passwords of my important accounts. Dushane's ability to automatically generate very strong passwords and display the password's strength is the finest feature that I like.
There is nothing I dislike about Dashlane but if i have to say one then it should be this autofill feature. Dashlane would occasionally automatically fill in fields when it wasn't necessary. That being said, it is a minor issue given all of its other wonderful features.
I had a great overall experience using Dashlane Business. It is a safe and effective tool for productivity. We use Dashlane Business to store all of our information and passwords in one location that is safe and secure. Overall, I would suggest it to any small firm with frequently shared passwords.
Auto completion of passwords and the password generator!
Doesn't always sense password logins on my iphone so I have to go to the app and copy and paste.
Secure passwords to ensure our online life is more secure.
Dashlane Business is easy to use and set up for your team.
Sometimes it doesn't recognize a login page and you have to refresh the page to get it to suggest a login.
Protect our passwords so that we don't use the same password for everything.
Dashlane allows us to set company policies and keep track of everyone's Password Health without compromising each employee's security.
DL has struggled to implement some of its updates without causing performance issues.
Our problems have all been solved with the most recent security software updates DL has implemented. We like the ability to share passwords securely with coworkers!
All built into the browser, everything is very simple to use. We have deployed to all staff and can monitor to ensure they are using it.
Nothing, it all works as per the instructions on the box
We have much greater security and oversight of this when it comes to password management for our team
Dahslane's password creating, saving, and autofill eliminates a lot of wasted time and increases security.
Autofill can get a little squirrely at times but is easy to turn off if necessary.
Creating and storing complex passwords to meet increasing security requirements.
I don't forget passwords, and it keeps my credit card info.
It does not work 100%. Sometimes the Dashlane boxes pop up where I don't want them, and I try to disable it, and it doesn't work.
Better organization. Sharing of passwords is amazing.
Auto filling, payment or credit, debit card adding information, strong password generation capability, can add notes which is more securely encrypted, number 1 password manager.
MFA + fingerprint signing option both should work simultaneously. Also, the enforcement of 2FA should be customizable to push it to specific groups as the current setting enforces it for all the users through the admin console.
Password remembering issue resolved with safer password container, no need to use sticky notes anymore. Users can securely store credit cards and make payments easily. Share stored passwords with other tenant users and customize the permission level before giving the access.
Three things I like about Dashlane - 1) I have virtual assistants all over the world, full-time and project-based. It allows me to easily share login information with limited access so they can't change the password or access the billing information. 2) I can quickly revoke access to any person in one click. 3) If something happens to me, my two contacts that I have provided will get an email from Dashlane after 48 hours of me not responding (because I'm either dead or incapacitated) and will get access to all of my accounts. Bonus - I have been alerted by Dashlane of breaches to credit card accounts before I was even alerted by the credit card companies!
Sometimes Dashlane is slow to populate on a website and I have to open the app to copy the password. Not a deal-breaker, but I like it when it is automatically entered. It could be an issue with the browser and not Dashlane.
Allowing me to share my login information with my team members in a safe manner is critical. I also have clients that share information with me so I can get into their systems. I'm a productivity speaker and coach and having a reliable password management system is one of my top recommendations.
I discovered dashlane nearly 10 years ago (crazy!). I originally used it to house all of my personal passwords, but I now have begun to use it for any and all passwords. It is quick, efficient, beautifully designed, and easy to use across devices.
I wish the free platform allowed for more usability across devices. They allow it, but only for a certain amount of time. But to give you an idea of how much I like it, I still use the product anyway.
It is my go-to password manager. I have others that I may use internally, but they are not my first pick. The benefits of having all of your passwords securely saved in one place is priceless.
Its easy to use and its integration with Chrome makes it easy for employees to stay in compiance. I also appreciate its login feature, which allows users to stay logged in for longer periods so compliance is higher
Our main pain point is that all passwords have to be associated with a user, so if a user leaves the password would have to be transferred. It would be a great feature if we could have some passwords not associated with any users
Dashlanes main benefit is password security and transferability. Having the ability to ensure people are using secure passwords and allow access to sites without users getting the password help security immensley
The best thing about dashlane is the ability to share passwords amongst your team or share a single password to an external party.
I dislike the pop ups when I don't need a password or the field is not password related but it tries to help with a password
Security
Dashlane integrates well into all modern web-browsers, including on my phone, which has historically been a pain for other password managers I've used. It generates strong passwords and makes managing them simple. From a business perspective, being able to share passwords to groups is such a game-changer... especially because I can share them in a way that doesn't SHOW the end-user what it is- it just lets them use it. This is a fantastic security measure because it means I don't have to change a million passwords any time someone leaves. I also love how it automatically sorts work and personal passwords into two different buckets so I can use Dashlane for myself, but not worry about keeping my personal information separate.
I don't have any downsides to using Dashlane as a business. There are a few feature requests I have, but ultimately it has been a wonderful solution. I've used a few different password managers at a few different jobs and using Dashlane is simple and powerful.
A major issue with passwords is that, even if you have complex ones, you sometimes need to share them with others in your group. Being able to share a password so that someone can autofill it but not actually see it is a powerful security feature that I haven't seen anywhere else and really makes my life a lot easier. Sharing accounts is usually bad practice because when an employee leaves they may still have those passwords, but I don't have to worry about that now.
Dashlane business has helped us to ensure our passwords are secure and strong to protect from potential attacks
We utilize an SSO and our employees use the sign in with Google option on a lot of tools, which counts as a duplicate password and impacts our overall "health score"
Weak passwords, insecure sharing of passwords of information. The group functionality of Dashlane has increased our ability to securely share secure information amongst employees.
