Business owners can set up registrations and events through the program. The templates are simple to use with layouts and alternatives. For handlers that are more experienced, HTML can be obtained to install templates. Emails remain educated while landing the mails in there or provide the chance to recipients and clients. Analytics is useful and to determine what does not and what works within an email campaign. CC also integrates networking platforms. It is an excellent, all-in-one advertising instrument.
Though the program is simple to use, it isn't intuitive and can, on occasion, create effects from lost pictures to changes in font, the text, and arrangement. Though I locate CC to be a lot more costly, I do like the pricing structure. One of my chief complaints is that the positioning of graphics - it does not allow flexibility - if you're okay with their template layouts its star - but also the ability to put images becomes dull and lessens the functionality. This program is worth the cost and a move when the picture placement issues are bothersome.
Overall practical, simple to use, and a fantastic solution. Performance, reliability, as well as features, counters the constraints it provides. When compared to other marketing and advertising email providers, the cost is a turnoff. CC provides simple to use entirely customizable templates. There are loads of tutorials along with HELP menu items. I like that there's not any limit on the number of emails sent. Wonderful visit merchandise!
Having a team prepare a template for me that I can efficiently work off of to continue generating new content for my network quickly and efficiently. I also like that I can at least get some feedback on how many people interact with my emails.
I wish I could get more detailed information on who interacts with my emails without paying significantly more monthly fees. If I utilized the service more, I would see the value in this, but given that I am only sending one email a month (if that), it is hard to justify the extra expense.
Constant Contact has allowed me to prepare cleaner-looking marketing pieces and distinguish who is not interested in my content by allowing those who receive my emails to unsubscribe.
Creating emails and landing pages are easy to do on Constant Contact. Plus you will be proud to send the emails out to out your clients, Constant Contact makes your emails look professional.
When I first came on board, I did not get an on boarding lesson, I had to learn everything on my own. Also, the cost I was quoted was 35 dollars a month and when I added my clients I later learned month later I was charged 75 dollars a month. since I had only 1350 clients it raised my monthly fee. When I asked them about this, they did work with on the monthly price and I satisfied with that amount.
love the AI writing and easy to use program
The wealth of templates for email campaigns gives you a professional look and feel to your marketing efforts. Even for small businesses it's probably one of the best tools out there. I've been able to run a soccer league (over 2000 families in Metro NYC to growing a family owned pet store. Each time the templates gave me precisely what I needed.
The cost of entry for a really small business can initially seem high. Though, once business starts to grow, it feels like a smaller nut to crack. For a big business the price is really not an issue.
I was trying to keep a community of 2000 families abreast of what was going on in a complex soccer league in Metro NY. Given the kinds of families, their fast paced schedules and their propensity for a short attention span, I was able to attain an open rate of about 75-80% reliably. That was astounding!
There was nothing I enjoyed about the product.
Constant contact operates a shady business. I had issues with their logo generator the first day I paid for service. I reached out to technical support and they promptly responded to my email and escalated the case. After two days without hearing from them I reached out for an update. They still were not able to address the issue. After three weeks with no resolution I decided to cancel my service. They charged me on a Saturday five days before the next billing cycle but I could not call them that day because they are only open Monday-Friday. I called on Monday to cancel my service (since this is the only way to cancel) and they refused to issue a refund. I asked why since no service had been issued and their sales representative told me I could downgrade my account on this date to lower the cost. The representative told me yes I could have downgraded but I am not downgrading I am canceling and we are a no refund company. They refused to send email confirmation of the cancellation until the following month so I could not dispute the charge with my credit card company. I can only assume this is the normal course of business for them to prevent customers from challenging their bogus charges. Beware of constant contact.
I have realized no benefits from using constant contact.
Very user friendly so easy to train clients on it's use. Nice layout. I also like the easy ability to drop BLOG POSTS directly into a segment.
Some of my clients are infrequent emailers so monthly fees aren't cost-effective for them. Event interface is a little counter-intuitive. Other than that I like the stats provided.
Staying TOP-OF-MIND with my contacts. Open and click rate feedback is also valuable. Easy to clone and update information for email sequences.
Constant contact was an easy to use platform that allowed us to send weekly emails out to contacts. It was great for sending 1 email to a mass mailing list. The price is also low.
The features are very limited or they charge extra for. The interface is easy to use but they don't easily allow you to segment your contacts or narrow down the list. We prefer for of a CRM and a platform that runs marketing automation vs batch mailing lists. Deliverability is also questionable sometimes.
Constant Contact allows us to send emails to our contacts in order to stay in touch, update them with new information and add value to our membership.
