- 100% uptime (over the course of almost 2 years, my websites have NEVER had any issues or downtime - which is amazing and a big discrepancy with my previous host, which was actually much more expensive) - 24/7 friendly and very helpful chat support - Let's face it, when working on web project, there's always going to be some issues or questions that arise. Great support is KEY for me to work with a business. Chat support is key. I don't want to have to wait hours or days to get a response and have a conversation this way. With Cloudways this is a breeze, and I never have to think twice before asking a question. - Very good pricing - Choice of various providers - Documentation - And so on!
There are absolutely no downsides to Cloudways. They're simply the best in their industry, PERIOD. I've had 3 hosts before them and those don't even compare the sligthest bit.
- Reliable website hosting for myself and my clients (I own a web agency) - Easy creation of staging sites and the ability to share them with clients while working on their new website - MUCCHHHHHH less stress!!! - Peace of mind - Higher profitability - Easier to grow - They've just introduced me to their Agency Programme, which is absolutely amazing and a great and well appreciated addition!
The thing I like with cloudways its super speed as compared to other shared web hosting plans available in the market. The price of the cloudways is so reasonable, and anyone can start with its basic plan of $10. The customer support team is so talented and supportive and readily available to resolve any concerns.
The thing I dont like with cloudwas is that, once we increased the ram and move upto bigger plan, then we can not downgrade the ram and plan within the same server, we need to clone the server for this.
With cloudways we have hosted few of our e-commerce site, which are opening up in super fast speed and it helps in increasing the sales of products within our site.
Cloudways is a real game changer for my company. We operate several SAAS and Ecommerce businesses and Cloudways was a major decision for us. Not because we doubted Cloudways , but because I had used other services and had many doubts in general about hosting. Let me tell you! I am so thrilled we made the switch! We operate all of our products on high frequency VPS servers. We wanted premium hosting service with no compromise. What I love about Vludeays is that it's managed so we don't have to deal with all the technical sophistication of VPS— that's all handled through their beautiful and easy to use interface. We also so get hourly incremental backups and can control all the settings with easy to do tweaks from the admin. Adding things like database packages and advanced settings are as easy as a click! The pricing is fair! The customer service and documentation is awesome!
I'd love to be able to have real time backups since I run e-commerce but this isn't a deal breaker since there are other services that can handle this is to off site locations for a pretty fair price. I don't have any real dislikes, just a minor wishlist 😊.
Working with Cloudways help us to avoid having to hire a full time employee / contractor engineer to manage our VPS servers directly through Digital Ocean. We've realized cost savings and convenience benefits by being able to with directly through their admin panel.
Around the clock support, stable & speedy servers. Easy to setup and manage apps and above all very good value for money. Also how SSL certificates are super easy to setup and they renew automatically. A good bouquet of already famous and well established server providers to choose from. All the customisation options when settting up your apps.
Support sometimes assumes what you want without asking detailed questions. Pricing tiers sometimes jump to the next tier too quickly. Databases are not easy to manage remotely. How difficult it is to set up a node.js server.
Hosting mission critical apps at affordable prices. Also hosting stable and secure Wordpress sites that are easy to backup and restore. SSL certificates are so easy to setup and all the admin is done by Cloudways.
Support team and the flexibility of hosting apps and the speed
as far none, everything is going smooth for me
Speed issue
Everything I do professionally as an infra engineer to support my web apps is taken care of, for many CMS systems in cloudways. That is nice to know that my workloads are already managed, thus mitigating the time spent managing my cloud environment, more time doing my app work
UI could use a little improvement, more controls may be nice.
Abstracting the hosting layer while still working on my application like its being hosted on a hyperscaler. This allows me to not worry about entire skills and tech stacks while I manage my workloads
The speed is the reason why I actually transferred to Cloudways. I additionally like this I'm able to establish various "servers" globally. The user interface is simple to understand plus much more easy than other VPS hosting provider
They've got the main capabilities which I have got to run our website and intensely I can not discover something unsuitable using the service yet.
I desired a rapid web hosting option for my own WordPress websites. I want to not to be much too complex that I can understand. I desired on-demand help support. Cloudways provides all those things.
Cloudways was recommended by a friend in the IM space. They suggested I contact them for hosting of a number of sales funnels and upsell pages that I needed to be hosted. I chose them because the server locations, speed of the VPS and load times were fast. When I first got started, the Tech support guys handled everything that I sent quickly and professionally.
They don't have Cpanel accounts on their servers.
I have realized that servers are all the same. But the staffing solutions that support them are not. Cloudways have been brilliant in helping me scale the sites and solutions, but more importantly, they have guided my hosting success by delivering excellent support.
I like the cloudways for providing various hosting in one place and all the hosting is most powerful in terms of speed. Also, their customer support is so great and friendly. They attend to your queries almost within 1-2 minutes and resolve you're perfect.
The thing I won't like about this platform is that they don't have a user-friendly control panel. You need to take help of their customer support most of the time.
With the cloudways we have opted for digital ocean Webhosting, which provides us VPS and dedicated IP for super fast speed. We have successfully hosted our website with this platform, which is running very well and at a very super fast speed.
trouble free and 24 hours reachable customer service
nothing, maybe can be little cheaper for large scaled companies.
slow servers.
Oh my God!!! This software really really Rocks. The billing is so straightforward, and cheap in my honest opinion. I love that I can, from one place, control and see everything going on. I also love the simplification of complex things. It has been a time and life saver for me. It seems all the failures of the other platforms were put together and corrected and that gave birth to cloudways. It, literally, made me feel so powerful in the marketplace.
To be honest, i do not have any dislikes for the platform so far. It has literally surpassed my expectations.
Help businesses build trust in their market and help them have a dependable virtual office that won't disappoint them.
I love how easy it is to get your server and application up and running. I can go from idea to hosting in less than 10 minutes; I kid you not! They make it so super easy to get hosted. I also like the speed of the sites. Their optimization plugin and CDN are amazing.
I don't particularly appreciate that I can't access my cloud server directly from the provider like you can at SPINUPWP.
I am hosting my sites and my client sites with super speed and Core Vitals scores through the roof!
A simplicidade em utilizar, fica tudo na mão e o custo é justo.
Suporte robótico, nunca consegue conversar com um humano.
Velocidade, preço justo e facilidade em utilizar e expandir os negócios.
Cloudways is very easy to use. The dashboards and basic settings are intuitive and they offer a good level of self-guided support. Human support is also available if needed. The cost is really good for the level of features and platform stability. I have been delighted with the speed of their servers and the standard features and settings that are available out of the box. The service is very easy to expand as multiple applications can be implemented on one server instance, and they are far more transparent and easy to understand than some of the other big names in managed hosting. I have yet to be confused about what is included, what I have access to, or how much it will cost. Really excellent service.
They do not offer full DNS nameservers without going through some extra hoops.
Cloudways has made everything from transitioning my site to all maintenance very easy. And the site serves remarkably quickly.
I was with BlueHost for 5 years (22 sites). They were just fine, but then they got acquired by the Borg. Support moved overseas, and they overloaded their servers (a single bandwidth hog can kill your site). After my last renewal, my main website (up for 27 years (Bluehost was the latest ISP)) started going down. In 2 months it was down about every 3 days. First the site would crawl and then up would come the 404 errors. The last two weeks it was down every other day--and even their advanced support (I know about 5 of their main guys by name) could not fix it. I kept saying move me to another server (which was the recommendation from their 1st line support multiple times), but they wouldn't. My course speed was "ok" when I started but only when it was live. Finally, I couldn't stay a victim and took TWO days (about 20 hours over the weekend) to move and reconfigure all of my sites. After researching dozens of reviews I narrowed it to a few: SiteGround "had" good reviews, but it seemed like they were going the way of BlueHost, and their "out of resources" warning that would force you to keep upgrading was a major put-off. WP Engine--had good reviews, and several companies I work with use them, but the price was VERY high and they will not allow you to install some apps (since it slows things down--but you may still want them). Kinsta got good reviews, with good support, but again the price was high. I checked out most of the other "affordable performance sites"--then decided. I finally decided on CloudWays. Their site was one of the hardest to understand (several options), so I had to do a lot of research to understand what worked best. But there is little risk--you can scale up or down or between their options with a click of a button (and everything is only a month at a time). Essentially, they are an MSP (Managed Service Provider) / Integrator that will take top-performing sites like Google, Amazon AWS, and several other top-performing, but less known systems, and then they create a "Hosting" service and interface on top of it. Most of us could never use AWS without a LOT of technical know-how (it is "bare metal" without much there). We would also have to have our own server software, be familiar with a lot of server tools, etc. to make it work. It would be a pain and take too much time. So, Cloudways takes one of these other systems, and then packages them and customizes the interfaces, and creates a user-friendly layer on top of them (similar to a lot of other host services that farm out their servers to those largest providers--but create a user front end (usually CPanel). Except, Cloudways is more transparent--but also gives you other options. Cloudways may double the retail price of using some of these other major services (like AWS or even DigtialOcean--but they are barebones (raw speed, but you have to know how to setup)--but event still, it is still often 1/2 the price of traditional high-end providers like WP Engine, Kinsta, and even Siteground. They use their margin to provide INCREDIBLE support services. Their online instruction is very good, but their support is fantastic (maybe a 10-30 second wait) and they stay with you until it is fixed or set up. They don't have voice support (like BlueHost), but most of the time I was put on hold. Their text support is real-time and VERY good (with links, images--again, VERY good). Cloudways is a great model!! It's like allowing you to fly an airplane, but your interface feels like a car (but you go a LOT faster). And, it's a lot cheaper and easier than renting an airplane (where you would still have to supply the pilots and expertise). I am plenty technical (engineering degree, Sr. VP Motorola), but I still wouldn't know or even want to learn to fly (or repair) a plane--I just want to do my job (website and courses) and get on with it. Next, which of their services should you get (they have several options)? Even their lowest plans of only $10/month with their less known service providers is faster than BlueHost. You get more dedicated resources and more speed. The cool thing, you pay month-to-month (the only affordable plans with BlueHost require a 3-year up-front payment (BTW, I got out of my last plan after a few months into the renewal--since they could see over 50 support calls (and it was even down when they checked). The other reason month-to-month is good--you can change plans and even host providers (Digital Ocean or Vultr or even AWS) for different months. And, if you need more horsepower, you can move to the next plan in minutes--and it adds resources. Moving down is almost as easy (it requires a backup first, then works fine). Once I've settled in, I would like the option to pay for 1-3 years in advance (if I was ever sick, my site (and another source of income for my family) could be pre-paid for and live for years before my wife would need help--but then again, they following the models of their core hosting/server providers). I'm using the Vultr High-Frequency plan with 4GB and 80GB. It is more $ than BlueHost (I used their highest shared plan)--but it is not down all the time (BTW, worse than Bluehost is GoDaddy--they ought to be ashamed it is so bad (even the higher-end accounts are junk). I thought I would treat myself while doing my next courses with SPEED! And I won't get arrested, but it can be just as addictive. If BlueHost was 100mph--this is 1,000! It is INSTANT loading and so, so fast. Check out chanimal.com and chanimaluniversity.com. Most of the pages BLINK onto the screen (and several are HEAVY pages). AWS and Google are also available--but I am so fast now I don't see the advantage. I've also looked at the new DigitalOean with their brand new Premium plan (same price as Vultr)--the stats show it is MUCH faster. But my configuration now is SOO fast and SOO sweet, I don't have reason to switch (and I need to catch my breath after all the transferring--although Cloudways changes can be made with the touch of a button). I thought I would use more space--but I am only using 25% of the 80 GB (with a 1,000-page site), and I am way under bandwidth. I can also check the analytics anytime and find I am using about 25% of the processor speed during spikes. So, it is currently overkill (but I feel like an abused host victim (thank you Bluehost--I'm traumatized for life) and need a safe and FAST place to park while I recover. I may scale down later--but better yet, how about I get more people onto my courses and see if I can use up everything I've got. At $1995 per course, I can make up any difference very quickly. I hoped this helped anyone deciding.
It would be nice to have phone support--but their chat is so fast I haven't had to use it. Their site is a little confusing to select--see my review above to see what I selected.
Speed and reliability were my problems. They are BLISTERING fast - my site BLINKS onto the screen. Perfect for an LMS which uses a lot of horsepower.
Extremely powerful and very easy to use.
The price is a bit high for a single simple WP site. I wish they had a lower tier for tiny sites that do not get a ton of traffic.
We are managing 5+ sites with all the bells and whistles of a major operation.
It's probably cliche to say, however the speed of Cloudways has been very good for my website. I migrated over from Siteground and I haven't looked back since. I also can't recall a single downtime my website has had since I've been a Cloudways client. I also have to say the Customer Support at Cloudways has been very helpful too when it's been called upon.
It's hard to really say what I dislike about Cloudwaus, there's nothing that springs to mind, it's been a pleasant experience so far.
Speed is the main thing. My website loads in under 2 seconds which is much better than it was on Siteground.
It is new way to hosting industry , in the past , most of the hosting provider provide shared hosting which is everyone used the shared resources to host their website , but cloudways give u a dedicated cloud resource to host your website from different giant brand of cloud provide like digital ocean , AWS , GCP etc , it is very affordable price on top of easy to manage your cloud server.
Cloudways do not have their own email hosting features and they partner with rackspace for add on function
Cloudways help me to solve the latency issue and speed performance from the traditional hosting provider, which dramatically increase the speed.
The speed and reliability of it. It's ridiculously fast compared to traditional hosting.
Not much, it was confusing at first but I got used to it pretty fast.
None, any issues I have are from CloudFlare being weird.
I personally tested AWS and Azure. One thing I like most from Cloudways is that I dont need any additional tech skill to deploy an application. Basically Cloudways take care on everything
I would like more applications available, and maybe a cpanel app. I see that cloudways need to integrate more services. Also maybe previous versions of applications like magento 2.2 and 2.3
Magento 2 is really slow with other providers and is amazing and quick to deploy. No issues at all
