Adobe Dreamweaver Pricing Overview

DreamWeaver allows newbies to create professional looking web sites with little to no experience or knowledge of web design. The software allows you to create by aesthetics or by code, making it perfect for any level of design professional or, in my case, a volunteer at a non-profit arts org who got tapped for the web master position by virtue of being a Millennial, and therefore "good with this stuff." Thankfully, it really was that easy.

It's pricey. Worth it, but pricey. Keep in mind, this is coming from a non-profit that performs free concerts. A for-profit would not have this concern. (Also, there are discounts and grants for non-profits, so don't let the cost discourage you.)

We eliminated the cost of hiring an outside web design pro for our tiny non-profit. It also allowed us to update and change the site often - the new web master added a section that follows the top artist's location as he performs and teaches around the globe.

I find that Dreamweaver as a coding program incorporates everything needed for a professional web developer to complete what needs to be done and do so as easily as possible. The ability to have a split screen view of coding, along with what the coding looks like is essential, along with the ability to view your work on a web browser as well.

The latest version of Dreamweaver is great and seems to have fixed all previous limitations of prior version, BUT unfortunately, with each new role out is it almost like you are learning a completely new product (but that is necessary to stay on top of things in the digital world.) ALthough Adobe provides great educational resources, they also come with a cost that is pretty high, especially if you are purchasing it as an individual. Although I do not need all of the tools in Creative Cloud, because purchasing the product alone or with one or 2 other products they offer almosts costs as much or more than buying the complete Creative Cloud Suite, it is more cost effective to buy all of the tools rather than 3 or 5 of the products that I use on a regular basis. I wish they had a package that was cheaper in price than buying the whole Creative Cloud package, like they have for photographers but with the ability to purchase 3, 4, 5 of the products that I use on a daily basis instead of having to buy all products, many of which I will never use.

I use Dreamweaver to teach web design, create custom websites and to fix issues with other sites that might need special customization rather than using a template from WordPress or other DIY website building platforms.

Best software for web creation, wouldn't use anything other than an Adobe product.

Price would be cost prohibitive if not for subscription service.

Updating look and feel, keeping current, and optimizing sites and stores for clients.

The updated look and feel has made using Dreamweaver that much easier.

The pricing plan from Adobe. I would love to have a more consistent price plan.

Coding issues with other elearning software.

I like the simplicity and easiness of the tool. Dreamweaver is very simple to use, as it indicates necessary tools very simply, and easy to navigate. Having small bugs and lags are always a plus, because with bugs and lags, it's very hard to concentrate in your work. Also, "working perfectly" is always a hard thing: while other free software fail to deliver perfectness, Dreamweaver delivers perfect responsiveness.

One dislike, if any, is the price point. I purchased Adobe Cloud with a special college student discount, but it is still a high price point. However, I have to say, that paid software are paid for a reason. If you compare this product with other free software, you will know the difference, as bugs and lags aren't as present as other free software, and it has many useful functionalities, along with easy navigation.

I work on Dreamweaver as a web developer. Easiness to use gives me more time to work on projects, as it takes lesser time to navigate through options. Having a software that gives you peace in mind and improves your work speed is always welcome to use.

it has a full support for advanced HTML5 and css websites .integrated file manager and template support are very useful and really adds function. .all the features are accessible through a graphic user interface .there is an integration with other adobe applications .it is available on multiple platforms.With the coming of the CS series, tabs were introduced in CS3 and it became much easier to tab through files you are currently working on. This is very useful when referencing other pages or moving content from one place to another.

lagging performance on complex pages.difficult interface to navigate and master,although Adobe provided multiple routes to different features.for a modern software the interface is a bit unsuitable. Learning Dreamweaver for the first time can be very hard because of the user interface alone.it has badly Written Code Snippets.the price is a bit hefty

the value per price is very good and it is very professional and is not limited therefore gets the job well done.its support for many languages and adobe integration makes design easy and an all in one solution therefore is very fast for our business.

The best part about it is that it has clean dashboard and no learning curve to use it.When I have the hands on it, I become so dependent on it. The shortcuts are almost the same as in the basic shortcuts used.Very easy to replace and find the things anywhere in the folder without need to upload it. I have the live window where one can see the website built right upfront.

The only thing I feel about it is pricing. It is on the higher side as compared to other IDE in the market.If pricing is not the concern, then this could be your choice. And now in the newer version, I started facing that it took large time to open and it crashes very easily.

This could be the best for the website development. I am using it for HTML,Css, JavaScript language.

There are so many options and tools and features. Anything is possible with this application, if you know what to look for and how to use it. One of my favorite features is the design view/code view split. This does make it a lot easier to see what you're doing and make changes quickly.

There might be too many features? Sometimes I get lost in the menus and can't remember what the tool I'm looking for is called, or where to find it. I think this just comes with having such a large, powerful program. Also, sometimes I have to search the web to figure out how to do what I think should be really basic functions. So it can be frustrating at times.

Well, I was able to get my business website set up. It took some effort, but it does feel good to be able to do it all myself, and saved me a lot of money. A previous website I had built by a designer cost me over $2500, but with Dreamweaver I was able to do it for the $30/monthly cost. Amazing!
