I liked the way it gets integrated to many other development tools. If there is any tasks assigned to you on Jira then you will get an automated email saying that you are tagged to a particular work
I feel Jira releases new versions frequently and sometimes when I get used to old version, using new version feels discomfort. Also if we are not configuring correctly it will lead to performance issues.
As Jira supports Agile methodology it will help team to work efficiently. I lead a team and I use Jira to track what my teammates do on a daily basis. Also if I want to assign a task then I can go and assign instead of reaching personally.
This is very useful and trending project management tool, in which we manage our projects with small small functionality. We use JIRA to follow our business in Agile methodology.
Nothing to dislike at this moment, it means till now it working fine as we want. This is awesome project Management tool

JIRA helps to manage the huge backlog and helps seemlessly work on new implementation and support work. It is an easy tool to run Sprint Ceremonies and track the work done by scrum teams.
Nothing so far, the experience has been. It is a great tool to collaborate and get things done.
Management of huge amount of backlog efficiently is extremely helpful and time efficient for me.

At the same time, all stakeholders can jump in at any point in time and see where things stand. Jira become a hub and foundation for all the product conversations, operations, and deliverables.
As we were using the DataCenter version before the Cloud, it was not that simple to maintain and update to the most recent versions. However, as we switched to Cloud, all the cons were gone.
All in one place. Milestones, gant charts, wiki, time tracking, sprints, comments, and super easy to integrate with Slack and other custom automation tools we use.
In Jira , I can able to handle Project, issue, bug, task, and workflow. All phases of a project's development life cycle, from planning to coding to testing managed in Jira system.

Easily track my teams work. Lots of reports to help gain insights on how the development teams are doing. It can auto connect to a number of other platforms. It's flexible by team and board. Overall, easy to use and implement.
We just moved to Company managed boards and I dislike two things: I want to make it so only Bugs have a priority. The fact that I can't set a no priority for things that are non bugs is incredibly annoying. There is a hacky way to hide it but it should just be built into the platform. Also, I would love the epics to work in the reports to be visible in the reports too. When we have epics and need to do time tracking, I used to be able to copy this information and not I need to click into everything to get the epic.
Having a central place for bug tracking (on top of Zendesk which we use as well) and also using it for all work tracking for our Development teams. It helps collaborate on a team in this new hybrid/remote world as well as allow for easier updates up and down using other Atlassian products.
Project tracking and report generation is the best thing in JIRA, the task-assigning process is so easy that a novice can do it. Burn-up / down charts generated from JIRA are so lively and straightforward to understand.
To date, I haven't experienced any downside of JIRA. But pricing can be one factor where the enterprise can work to Improve themselves. Another thing is the collaboration feature.
As a scrum master, I prefer JIRA over other tools like Trello, and ClickUp. Team management and task management are very effective and productive comparatively. Such features definitely increase production and help the organisation in many ways.
I like the project management & ticketing functionality & easy to customize. Like the customization of Boards according to need.
Nothing as I used JIRA since last 3 years .
Project Management is quite easy in JIRA & easy to maintain ticket & board customization, ticket planning & tracking of bugs & sprint planning etc.
Jira is very easy to use and makes QA Testing and Automation simple and easy.
So far there is nothing to dislike about Jira.
Tracking QA testing and BUG management.
You can track complete project with Jira, it's no more only for bugs in any project. It offers you confluence to write requirement, connections with other apps like Slack etc to get the notfication of every activity that is for the ticket where you are/were added. it gives customization option for the dev/qa/pm flows.
There is nothing actually that I don't like about the application, but once we faced issue in my organisation due to its downtime. But it may be because I might have not noticed the downtime email from the applicatioin.
smooth workflows that is customizable to fasten the project and make it crystal clear for every one. Support with different application for better communication like slack or test management tools.
it is the tracker for any of the team planning and building product.JIRA is also used for issue tracking.
there is nothing as such to be disliked.
fast and easy development of the current project. easy to manage workflow for managers. it is used for bug tracking as well.

The best part of JIRA that i love is Issue tracking software designed to help teams plan, track, manage and report on their work at organization level to streamline their worflows.
The major drawbacks about JIRA includes limited offline access which could be a hurdle for teams working in areas with unreliable internet connectivity. Maintenance overhead also add in OPEX.
The main problem JIRA solving is Issue Tracking and Management,Inefficient workflows,Lack of Transparecy, lack of accountability, poor resource management and Ineffective prioritization along with not proper use of Automation.
Jira has great features for project management, It haa kanaban mode which simplifies the tasks and their status to be viewed by project managers. It is also beneficial for developers as it makes the process smooth.
Rhe thing that I dislike about jira is that it provides some deatures for free while some are paid. So small organisations don't prefer the software for their use.
It has a clean UI and well managed navigations that help the users to navigate to tasks. It also has features like assigning task logging work and adding comments which help the project management process.
It's the best project management tool ia heva ever worked on. It gives variety of options, functionalities, customisations and much more. It has a very user friendly UI as well which makes it easier to use for someone who is starting in this field.
Haven't found anything for which I could say I dislike in Jira
We use it in our company to track issues, project status, day to day activities, incident/tickets, etc. It helps streamline the flows and makes work smoother. It has helped increase our productivity as everything is available to everyone for tracking.
1. We can easily create JIRA stories in Backlog bucket. 2. It Associates all Agile team member at one place to manage the stories and we can see the progress of the stories and we can stay up to date with the Project work. 3. Here we can identify our future and present work(tasks) story status. 4. Backlog Grooming is possible with jira, this meeting helps us to interact with the Agile team member. 5. It helps team member when they face any technical issue they can connect with each other on JIRA. 6. We can take daily status updates of Team Members on one platform. 7. It Supports the Agile Methodology in this environment. 8. For new joiner it stimulates the path.
I have been using jira tool for more than 1 year, I see 1 or two problems in it which I am mentioning below. 1. Because of wide range of features and complexities sometime its difficult for new user and team also to understand, who are not familiar with this type of tool, It could be more simplified for new user and unexperienced team. 2. Over Complex configuration leads to confusion among team members which makes it challenging for team to maintain consistency. .
Jira tool is helping in managing project with customized workflows, we can see each other story status, i can see my work status(story) i can assign my story to my team member if i am facing any difficulty. We can see overall progress of the project, It promotes collaboration among team members. It provides the platform for discussions, comments and issues related to specific tasks. It is reducing the need for extensive back-and-forth communications through emails and other medium.
As an active user of Jira, I wanted to share my thoughts on this project management tool. In a nutshell, Jira has been a game-changer for our team's workflow. The first thing that struck me was its versatility. From managing tasks to tracking complex projects, Jira seems to handle it all with ease. The ability to customize workflows, fields, and issue types tailored to our team's needs has been a real boon.
Learning Curve and Complexity... Admittedly, Jira can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users. The myriad of features might take some time to fully explore and grasp. But once you get the hang of it, it's a powerful tool at your fingertips.
Collaboration has been a breeze with Jira. The transparency it offers through shared boards, real-time updates, and commenting keeps everyone on the same page. The Kanban and Scrum boards have become our go-to visual aids for project progress. What's particularly impressive is the integration ecosystem. Jira plays well with other tools we use, be it for development, communication, or design. This seamless connectivity has significantly reduced manual work and data duplication.
